Flit has opened as the overwhelming favourite for the Wakeful Stakes
Despite giving away weight, Flit is the hot pot with Sportsbet.com.au when it comes to the Wakeful Stakes (2000m) this Saturday at Flemington.
The James Cummings trained filly is on trial for the Oaks next Thursday. She comes here off the back of a thrilling win in the Thousand Guineas, where the slow tempo was against her. She heads the market at $2.40.
Vegas Jewel is a $3.50 second elect after a second placing in the Ethereal behind Gamay. Trained John Sargent has a fab record in the Wakeful and his sole representative, Foxborough, appears value at $16, out from $15.
