Grafton Overview:
Tricky meeting at Grafton, especially with a wet track, but I reckon the value is clearly with Evopex in the feature race, the John Carlton Cup. Hasn’t raced in over a month since running a close up fifth in what looked a decent enough Handicap at the Gold Coast. He thrives on tracks with give in it, loves racing with fresh legs, down in the weights and don’t mind him drawn wide because given it’s race eight of nine, I expect the wider the better. Think he’s a great gamble at the odds.
Bairnsdale

Bairnsdale Overview:
Made her the best of the day but $3 does seem very short considering she was $11 first up. That fresh run came at Wodonga and I thought she was very good in defeat after getting back in the run from the inside gate, conceding a start and was racing tight between runners when making ground in the straight. Hoping she can get clear air this time around and I think a wet track will be right up her alley second up. Looks hard to beat with upside in what is a thin race on paper.
