Just the one bet for Sunday, and it’s a horse I am all over in Chequered Flag. He’s the best hurdler Australia has to offer and he should confirm that with a win here in the Australian Hurdle. Convinced he would have won the Galleywood at Warrnambool but stable went that way with Big Blue and he duly won. Chequered Flag went to the Champion Novice and won like the moral he was. Then went to the Queens Cup last Saturday at Morphettville on the flat and he was very good late in restricted room. He’s flying this bloke and IMO, the $2 looks great overs. I think he should be near $1.50, perhaps shorter.
