The track is rated a Good 4 and expected to stay in that range, the rail out is 3 metres the entire circuit and that rail position should see a fair track. The Lakeside circuit is traditionally a course that suits on pacers.

Happy to forgive last start at Pakenham, when was just plain disappointing. He’s better than that and win prior in the Kilmore Cup was solid, he maps to get complete control here and is clearly one of the class runners in the race.
