Fireburn is favourite to take out the Queensland Oaks
Quality filly Fireburn is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au to take out the feature race at Eagle Farm this Saturday, the Queensland Oaks (2400m).
The three year old is looking to become the first since Miss Finland to win the Golden Slipper and then an Oaks. Her Roses win was dominant and off that, 2400m looks ideal. Market agrees, having her at $3.50.
Renaissance Woman is on the second line of betting at $5.50, a half point clear of SA Oaks winner Affaire A Suivre. Kiwi raider Sakura Girl is next best but at $11.
