Punters have stepped in and backed a runner at massive odds to win Saturday’s Group One Epsom Handicap at Randwick.
The final field for the Epsom Handicap was released on Tuesday morning and punters are looking for value in what looks a wide open race.
The Team Hawkes trained Desert Lord has been subject to a good move at big odds with punters quick to take the $81 opening odds which has seen him shorten into his current price of $34 after touching $31.
Early favourites New Zealander Te Akau Shark and Dreamforce who were early favourites have both drawn wide which has seen Kolding and Rock firm into equal favourites for the race.
Outside of the favourites punters have also backed the Godolphin gelding Cascadian who is $13 into $9.00.
