Despite being first emergency and not assured a start, Semana has clearly been the best backed with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Rosehill this Saturday, the Winter Challenge (1500m).
The Maher/Eustace trained filly has been up a while but is holding her form super and strikes a very winnable blacktype race. The market likes her early, into $3.90 favourite after opening $5.50.
The other three year old in the race, Resonator, is on the second line of betting at $4.80, clear of Barbie’s Fox at $6, who was luckless in the Winter Stakes.
