Amphitrite has had her odds slashed for the Thousand Guineas despite being doubtful to run
The Edward Manifold (1600m) has been a key form reference in finding winners of the Thousand Guineas (1600m) and the Tab.com.au market setters reacted to the all in market for the classic after the weekend.
Amphitrite was most dominant in winning the Edward Manifold and Darren Weir stated the filly will likely back up. After that news, the filly tightened into $8 after being $13 prior despite being doubtful to run in the race.
Other firmers for the race from the Edward Manifold included Peaceful ($51-$26), Krone ($26-$13) and Aristia ($51-$26), all of which sit behind the $3 top elect Smart Melody.
