Cylinder has been heavily backed in today's Inglis Sires
Golden Slipper runner up Cylinder is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the Inglis Sires (1400m) this afternoon at Randwick.
The James Cummings trained colt was a well supported favourite in the Golden Slipper and was good in defeat when second to Shinzo. The 1400m is a query for him on paper but punters believe he has the A1 form. Opened $2.80 and has been well tried, now into $2.35.
VRC Sires winner Veight is on the second line of betting at $5.50, a point clear of another Victorian, Brave Mead. Don Corleone has been the big drifter, out to $8 after opening $5.
