Expensive colt Chauffeur has firmed in Magic Millions betting
Expensive colt Chauffeur has firmed in Magic Millions betting following his debut win at Rosehill last Saturday.
Online bookmaker sportsbet.com.au turned Chauffeur, a $1.6 million dollar buy, from $17 into $13.
Madeenaty is the best backed runner and heads the market at $6.00.
Invincible Star has eased slightly ($6.50 out to $7.00). Trainer Chris Munce has two Millions candidates and they have both eased, from $9.00, following the shake-up.
Ours To Keep has drifted to $13 and Champ Elect is out to $11.
“The money has been for Madeenaty, but Chauffeur has definitely gained a lot of admirers since his win. There is definitely confidence that he won’t be a passenger come Millions day and he’s now the third most popular runner with punters,’’ said sportsbet.com.au’s Will Byrne.
