Absalon has been excellent in two runs for new trainer Shane Marr, and Sportsbet.com.au punters have been quick to snatch up his juicy price in the Stuart James Memorial (1200m) this Saturday at the Gold Coast.
The son of Mossman made up good ground last start at Rosehill behind Got The Goss, who franked the form by running well last Saturday. To be ridden by Brodie Loy, the seven year old opened a ridiculous price at $41 and he has been crunched at every call, and is now currently sitting at $13.
Liberation, a former boom galloper with Gai Waterhouse but is now with Barry Lockwood, opened $5 and has been supported, now into $4.60. Pienkna ($4.70-$4.60) has also had admirers.
