Elliptical has opened favourite in the G1 Spring Champion Stakes
Elliptical is favourite with Ladbrokes.com.au for the feature race at Randwick on Saturday, the Group l Spring Champion Stakes (2000m).
The Team Freedman trained three year old was luckless in the Caulfield Guineas last time when a narrow second to Golden Mile. He’s primed for 2000m and has the right form. Opened $4.80 and has been well supported, into $4.
Williamsburg and She’s Extreme are on the second line of betting at $5.50, a point clear of Gloaming winner Sharp N Smart, a half point clear of the seven day backing up Promitto.
