1. Streisand: Didn’t do much wrong in two runs during the Spring. Just not sure what upside she has left, whether that was her or not. Recent jumpout was solid and with luck from the gate, should be around the mark.

2. Lady Of Five: Did a good job in her first prep in the Spring in Brisbane… but gee the form around her looks suspect and her trial last week at Sandown was so so. Happy for her to go through to the keeper.

3. Ghana’s Akan: Just think race experience cost her dearly on debut in the Geelong Diamond. The gate is tricky, but with luck, is dangerous.

4. Leopard Shark: Has Guest House form… that is A1 for the Blue Diamond so in that regard, a big price. But, she is going to need lots of luck from the draw.

5. Gin Spirit: On speed and battled away well enough in defeat on debut at Pakenham behind Brazen Dechambeau. One for exotics.

6. Angels Fury: Angels Fury is a Harry Angel filly that debuts for Ciaron Maher. She has won both jumpouts this time in to get ready for start one, both at Cranbourne, and each time has moved quite well I thought. Bred to be handy and the jumpouts indicate she does have talent. Hard to beat.

8. Explosive Magic: Explosive Magic is a Pinatubo filly for Liam Howley that debuts. She trialled at Sandown last Thursday when second to Jadzia and while safely held, I thought she moved well and looks to have ability. I’d watch betting and see what it does with her.

9. I Am Aria: If you can follow Mark Walker/Te Akau with confidence, good luck. She has jumped out well and maps to do no work, but I am happy to watch her.

10. Jadzia: SCR

11. La Gitana: Beautifully bred filly who has jumped out well and stable is flying with their juveniles, and usually fire this time of year. Definite market watch.

12. Orchid Sky: SCR

13. Queen’s English: Bred to be a star being out of star mare English. 2/2 at the jumpouts and is bred to come to hand early. Maps to stalk the speed, a win wouldn’t totally shock.

14. Rubi’s Choice: Bred to be better over slightly further. Jumped out okay enough but she can go through to the keeper.
