Tuesday Results: $330 Loss
Last 10 Days: LWLWWWWLLL
Overall Results (Since June 7): $4469 Profit
Bet One- Parlay 3,4- Hawkesbury R1 No 3 Win/R2 No 5 Place/R7 No 5 Place/R8 No 5 Place:
Very tricky program at Hawkesbury and can’t be confident so a throw at the stumps with a Parlay. The horse I really like at the meeting, at the odds, is Commentator in the first. Staying youngster for David Payne who was quite good last time at Canterbury and will love the extra trip/bigger track. Swelt has trialled well and should be thereabouts in the second. The penultimate should see Via Veneto prove hard to beat second up and in the last, Momentum To Win appears well placed.
Suggested Bet: $10 = $50 Cost (Tote)
Bet Two- Win- Bendigo Race One Number 3 Suburbia:
Deal me out of Dunman. Suburbia should be a clear fav for mine. Seven weeks between runs when racing over 1400m here on Bendigo Cup Day and was very good late off a moderate tempo when a closing third. He’ll eat up the extra trip, has more upside and hopefully won’t spot them a big start via the small field.
Suggested Bet: $40 Win at $2.7 (BetEasy)
Bet Three- Win – Bendigo Race Six Number 4 Write Your Name:
Archie Alexander has a really good colt on his hands and confident he can get another win on the board. Loved the way he let down to win on debut at Ballarat before going to Echuca where IMO it was an 80/20 ratio in terms of the horse losing the race himself rather than a poor steer. Drawn to get clear, like he was on debut. Really keen.
Suggested Bet: $100 Win at $2.7 (BetEasy)
Bet Four- Each Way- Bendigo Race Eight Number 7 Wassergeist:
Been on Wassergeist in both runs this prep, but this is D-Day as to whether or not he’s a contender or pretender. Didn’t have much luck first up at Mornington before going to Pakenhan where he looked to have his chance but second up, I’m thinking and hoping condition gave out late. Third up now so he should be ready fitness wise.
Suggested Bet: $25 E/W (Tote)
Bet Five- Win- Murray Bridge Race Two Number 1 A Thousand Wishes:
Barring bad luck, he’ll be winning. Tony McEvoy trains this three year old, who returns as a gelding. Hasn’t raced since Vain Stakes back in 2017 where he debuted and did plenty wrong when down the track behind Jukebox. Trialled like Black Caviar last week at Gawler and if he can overcome the tricky draw, he’ll be winning.
Suggested Bet: $50 Win (Tote)
Total Spend: $290
