A solid field has been assembled for the Benalla Cup this Friday where the depth looks pretty solid across the board.

1. Forgot You: He’s really struggling to find positive form.
2. Scary: SCR
3. Go Daddy: Sneaky flying this horse and does have the C Maher polish so I say he’s one of the knockout hopes.
4. Plymouth: He was the real eye catcher behind Golden Path. Will love getting a rise in trip and has class on his side…hard to beat.
5. Flash Feeling: Drops a fair way in grade/depth but not sure he is racing well enough.
6. Arugamama: Going terribly IMO. Not troubling these.
7. Lincoln Rocks: Lincoln Rocks is hard to beat I say for Team Archibald. He ran over 2040m a few weeks ago at The Valley when doing early work from the tricky gate and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when a narrow third to Rise To It. Hard to knock the way he’s going and is one of the leading contenders.
8. Chasing Aphrodite: Trialled up super prior to resuming at Caulfield when near the speed and was there to win but first up, condition just gave way late. Fitter, lands handy, leading contender.
9. Miss Tarzy: Miss Tarzy ran behind Rise To It a few weeks back. She got near the speed and was there to threaten but couldn’t quite finish his race off in defeat. She has that 2000m run under the belt, which holds her in good stead for this.
10. I Am The Empire: Comes back in trip after attempting to lead throughout over 2400m at Sandown last start and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. Front end control, he’s dangerous.
11. Raging Bull: Liked his finale at Flemington on Sunday but just not sure he is up to these.
