Punters think Alizee will return with a bang in the Christmas Classic at Randwick
Punters are happy to spread the festive cheer amongst several runners when it comes to the feature at Randwick this Saturday, the Christmas Classic (1200m).
The class runner is multiple Group l winner Alizee, who is first up and likely just having this run given her long term aim is the All Star Mile. Her trials have been excellent, Bowman is on…plenty to like, and punters agree, backing her into $2.25 after opening $2.50.
She hasn’t been the lone key firmer. Fell Swoop looks as if he’ll get a soft lead and was $3.70 in from $4 but has settled at $3.80. The mare who will get the good run is Problem Solver, who is at $6 and has firmed a point.
