The Peter and Paul Snowden-trained Aim remains $5.50 favourite at TAB for Saturday’s Magic Millions 2YO Classic on the Gold Coast after connections drew barrier 2 in the recently completed barrier draw.
The Star Witness colt won at Rosehill on December 11 over 1200 metres and followed that debut performance with a victory at Randwick on December 21 over 1200 metres.
Farnan was victorious in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic on December 12 over 1100 metres and the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained colt is the $7 second elect.
King’s Legacy won the B.J. McLachlan Stakes at Eagle Farm on December 28 over 1200 metres and is an $8 chance along with Conceited who was runner-up to Wisdom Of Water in last Saturday’s Gold Nugget at Gold Coast over 1100 metres.
Every Rose finished second to Farnan in the Wyong Magic Millions 2YO Classic and was runner-up to King’s Legacy in the B.J. McLachlan Stakes and is currently $10 to win Saturday’s Magic Millions Classic.
In the Magic Millions Guineas, Alligator Blood – winner of seven races from eight starts and runner-up in last year’s Caulfield Guineas – has firmed since the barrier draw from $1.80 to $1.75 at TAB.
