A punter with the TAB has started the day off on the wrong foot at Dubbo after a bet of $50,000 goes horribly wrong on a maiden.
The punter plonked a massive bet of $50,000 on John in Race 1 on the card with the horse settling at the back of the field and making only moderate ground to run a distant third after never looking likely.
