A 2YO filly from the in form Ben Currie stable has been backed as if unbeatable at Ipswich today despite a relatively lacklustre trial.
The daughter of Kuroshio ‘Kuro Hoshi’ opened in the red at $1.90 but that did not deter punters who have continued to smash her in betting which now sees her at the very skinny quote of $1.28.
Kuro Hoshi has been seen once in a trial at Toowoomba where she led and weakened badly to finish fourth in a field of five so there must be confidence within the stable that she can turn that form around.
