Their has been one major market mover for tomorrow’s Group 1 Thousand Guineas, Gai Waterhouse trained ‘More Strawberries’ opened markets at$4.20 yesterday morning but has seen a large amount of money come for it and has been shortened into $3.70.
After Saturday’s Caulfield Guineas day it was evident that it was a massive advantage to be on speed which has given punters more confidence to back the early favourite More Strawberries.
After the barrier draw yesterday the daughter of More Than Ready drew barrier 3 which will enable her to get the perfect cart into the race most likely sitting just behind the leaders, she should get a perfect run through the race and with her raw ability be able to give a good kick in the straight. If the track plays like it did Saturday she will be very hard to run down.
Apart from More Strawberries no other runner has been fancied by punters.
