The big money keeps coming for So You Think to make it three from three in the Northern Hemisphere at Royal Ascot tonight with a $200,000 bet struck at Sportingbet Australia.
The dual Cox Plate winner had already shortened from $1.42 to $1.40 but Sportingbet Australia CEO Michael Sullivan said punters were still coming.
“We took a bet of $100,000 at $1.42 on Monday and then a bet of $200,000 at $1.40 and he is now into $1.33,†Sullivan said.
“He rewarded punters in Australia so often and they have little doubt he can keep his winning run going at Ascot.
“We knew how good he was when he went to Ireland and his performances so far look like he may have got even better which is scary.â€
Sullivan said there had been very little money for any other runner in the Prince of Wales Stakes.
“Planteur is on the second line of betting at $5.00 and there has been a little money for him but nothing for any other runner,†he said.
