Fresh from success in hosting the annual Pink Lunch the ATC Foundation Chair Angela Belle McSweeney has again expressed her gratitude to racing fans.
With the Pink Lunch to aid The Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation, it’s the ATC Members and supporting bodies that note the Foundation’s ongoing dedication to community impact.
“The ATC Foundation is proud to support both the racing industry and the local communities surrounding each of our racecourses,” said Ms Angela Belle Ms McSweeney.”

The Australian Turf Club Foundation will distribute $167,832 in funds to 15 charities and racing industry organisations as part of its ninth round of grants, continuing its commitment.
Since its establishment in 2018, the ATC Foundation has contributed more than $1.7 million in grants to a diverse range of initiatives and organisations.
Funds for this latest round were raised through on-course donations and fundraising including the sale of official Carnival pins for events such as TAB Everest and Golden Eagle.
As well as auctions of saddlecloths from Group 1 Australian Turf Club races. In addition, we’re proud to host the annual Pink Lunch, supporting the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.
Thanks to the generosity of our partners through ATC Business Connect, we’re able to make a meaningful impact and contribute to vital fundraising efforts.
$50,000 – Ronald McDonald House Charities – Sponsor a room in the new House within The Children’s Hospital at Westmead to address the critical gap in services and support for local families.
$10,000 – Horse Aid Ltd – Expand and provide for the welfare of retired Thoroughbred ex-racehorses and the innovative equine-assisted healing programs.
$10,000 – Riding for the Disabled Tall Timbers Centre – Funding towards the Work skills – Horse Management for adolescents with mild intellectual or physical disabilities.
$10,000 – Riding for The Disabled Mudgee – Contribute to purchase a specialised 4WD vehicle to enable a volunteer or coach to tow a horse float for horses supporting participants.
$10,000 – National Jockey Trust – Funding towards a national program that provides jockeys and their families with emotional and mental health guidance.
$10,000 – Autism Swim – Funding for modified surf education initiative including neurodiversity and aquatics, designed for all ages and abilities, delivered at numerous beaches
In addition, $10,000 were each granted to The Leila Rose Foundation, Bayside Women’s Shelter, When No One’s Watching and St Luke’s Anglican Church at Clovelly.
$5,000 each was granted to Australian Racing Christian Chaplaincy, Vision Australia, Spinal Cure and $2,832 to Riding for The Disabled Wagga.
