A punter has placed a big bet on long shot Global Quest to win the Golden Slipper
A punter has placed a big bet on a horse at massive odds to win Saturday’s $3.5m Golden Slipper at Rosehill.
The punter with the TAB placed a bet of $2,000 on Global Quest to win the feature 2YO event in Australia the Golden Slipper at odds of $67 to return $134,000 if it gets upp.
Global Quest won the first feature 2YO race in Sydney for the colts and geldings in the way of the Breeders Plate before placings in the Canonbury Stakes and the Silver Slipper Stakes.
The Chris Waller trained galloper last raced in the Todman Stakes where he finished fourth behind 2020 Golden Slipper favourites Farnan and Tagaloa.
