Magic Millions buyers set to splurge at sales

Superstar mare Winx was purchased at the Magic Millions Sale, but Sportsbet is tipping a colt will top this week’s sales.

The online bookmaker has priced a colt at $1.50 to be the highest priced yearling at the sales, with a filly at $2.50.

Star stallion I Am Invincible is $2.50 to supply the highest priced yearling, ahead of Snitzel and Zoustar ($3.50). Odds of $1.80 is on offer for the highest priced yearling to go under the hammer for $2 million or more.

“Winx has turned out to be a bargain buy and after the year and amazing career she has had there will be plenty of buyers ready to splurge,” said sportsbet.com.au’s Ella Zampatti.
