The heavily backed commodity couldn’t find enough in the run home however, beaten almost 2 and a half lengths by Unfair Dismissal, taking with it some big bets of $1000, $2000, and a rather large $6800.
Without question the hard luck story of the day was the extremely well fancied Chris Waller runner Seahampton, finishing second last and beaten 6.2 lengths after coming from 8th to salute over the same distance in the start prior.
Seahampton was another one backed into close to even money, also copping big lays of $1250 and 2 plonks of $3000 however never looked likely at any stage.
$1.65 shot Ombudsman and the speedy I Thought So were also comprehensively beaten and Randwick while lucklessly for punters, aside from Tumbler it was the favorites day in the Sunshine State.
