Sydney galloper crunched in Magic Millions Trophy betting

Punters are banking on class coming to the fore when it comes to the feature staying race at the Gold Coast this Saturday, the Magic Millions Trophy (2200m).

The class clearly lies with the Waterhouse/Bott trained mare Sedanzer, who has been one of the in form gallopers in Sydney for the Summer. She almost defied a betting drift last time in the Belle Of The Turf at Gosford but just missed out on picking up Pecans. She opened $3.50 to win this Saturday and has been crunched, now into $3.00.

Payroll did open the $3.40 favourite but with the support for Sedanzer, she is now out to $3.70 and could ease to $4+ by post time. They stifle betting with the next best being Black On Gold, who is out to $11 after opening $9.50.
