There has been plenty of early betting with Sportsbet.com.au when it comes to the first of the features at Sha Tin this Sunday, the Hong Kong Vase (2400m).
Favourite for the race is the old warrior Highland Reel but he has been easy since the markets came out late on Thursday. He is at $4 after opening $3.75. He holds the call of star Japanese three year old Kiseki, who did touch $4.20 from $4.50 but is now at $4.40.
That late drift is due to the move at odds for a couple of runners, namely Tiberian ($8-$10-$9) and local hope Gold Mount ($9-$10-$8), who was good last time in the Jockey Club Cup.
