Despite finishing near last in the lead up, the Rob Heathcoate trained Bewhatyouwannabe has been the subject of good support to take out the Spear Chief Handicap (1500m) this Saturday at Eagle Farm.
The son of Fastnet Rock comes here after finishing 16th behind stablemate Hopfgarten in the Wayne Wilson Mile…hardly encouraging form. But punters at Sportsbet.com.au think otherwise, because he has been $13 to $10.
Hopfgarten is the $2.50 favourite after opening $2.40. Amovatio has been $3.80 out from $3.70, while Beckham has also been easy ($6.50-$7.50).
