A strong nine race program will be run and won at Rosehill this Saturday. The weather forecast is for showers, the track is soft (6) and the rail is out four metres for the entire circuit.

Race One (11:25) : TAB Rewards Handicap 1350m:

Back Me: Going with 2 Dynamic Dynasty (Bet Now: $7.50). Paul Perry trained youngster that comes here off the back of a dominant win last time out at Taree, lumping 61.5kg in the process, and I don’t care what level you’re racing at, carrying 61.5kg is a big ask for a two year old. His form prior is very solid and stable is going really well at the moment.
Big Danger: 3 Hanover Square (Bet Now: $7.00) looked beaten a few times up the straight at Kembla Grange last time out, but the Team Snowden youngster showed some ticker over the concluding stages to get the job done impressively. Rises a bit in depth here, but he has upside and this is a winnable race.
Roughie: 8 Smart Venture (Bet Now: $26.00) ran over 1200m here a fortnight back on a bottomless surface and stuck to the task pretty well I thought when running fourth to Henry The Createth. Another with good upside and she should do no work from the gate.

Race Two (12:00) : Kensei Handicap 2000m:

Back Me: Looks a good race for 2 Loophole (Bet Now: $4.00). He ran over 1800m here two weeks ago and stuck to the task pretty well in a race dominated by the leader and eventual winner Foreign Prince. Third up now, so he should be close to peak fitness and the extra furlong will be right up his alley.
Big Danger: 1 Beyond Thankful (Bet Now: $7.00) is the class runner engaged and is a stablemate of the top tip. He comes here through the McKell Cup at Randwick where he tried hard but couldn’t quite pull enough ground off Ecuador, who ran okay in the Brisbane Cup last weekend. Bowman back on and this is a thin race.
Roughie: 3 Foreign Prince (Bet Now: $4.60) won over 1800m here a fortnight back and he was given a beaut on speed steer from Deanne Panya to get the job done. I think he is a real risk at 2000m but he looks the leader again and will be around the mark if he gets a cheap sectional.

Race Three (12:35) : TAB Highway Handicap (Class 3) 1500m:

Back Me: 1 King’s Officer (Bet Now: $3.70) absolutely lapped up the bog surface here a fortnight back and was just so much better than his rivals. If we get any conditions similar to that, or even slightly better, he has to rate as the clear one to beat.
Big Danger: 3 Erika (Bet Now: $11.00) strung together two impressive wins before coming to a Highway at this track/distance three weeks back where she just got too far back in a race completely dominated by the leader Correspondent. If she can sit a touch closer from the good draw, she’ll take some beating.
Roughie: 11 They Call Me Rose (Bet Now: $13.00) is a tough three year old filly for Cliff Bashford who has had a couple of hard mile races on her home track at Taree to prepare her for this. Both runs have been quite solid and she gets really good weight relief here after the claim.

Race Four (13:10) : Schweppes Handicap (84) 1200m:

Back Me: Going with 10 Don’t Doubt Marley (Bet Now: $6.00). She ran at the midweeks at Warwick Farm a couple of weeks back where she was smashed in betting and almost got the job done but had to settle for second to Sahara Chill, an above average mare herself. Down on the limit now, on her home track, and any moisture won’t harm her prospects.
Big Danger: 4 Flamboyant Lass (Bet Now: $4.60) was a bit disappointing in two runs during the Summer. But they were in two Magic Millions races which had far more depth than what she faces here. The trials have been sharp and she does tend to sprint well fresh.
Roughie: 7 Magic Of Dreams (Bet Now: $11.00) has been freshened up since closing off okay late on her home track at Beaumont-Newcastle behind Distraught. Recent Gosford trial was encouraging and I like the booking of Hugh Bowman.

Race Five (13:45) : Tab.com.au Handicap (74) 1350m:

Back Me: 10 Dinghu Mountain (Bet Now: $7.50) for me here. He can be frustrating to follow, but there is no denying his talent. He ran last Wednesday at Canterbury as a short priced elect and his effort was strong when second to Static Lift. That doesn’t help you if you took the short odds, but he is knocking on the door and I think he gets his chance here.
Big Danger: 4 Classic Uniform (Bet Now: $6.50) comes through the 1500m here a fortnight back where he was enormous in defeat. He did a power of work on speed and had every right to drop out like the other leader, but he kicked on to run third, beaten two lengths. If he doesn’t do as much work here, he’ll be a major player.
Roughie: 2 Last Witness (Bet Now: $8.00) rises in trip after racing over 1200m here two weeks ago where he closed off okay late in the piece when fourth to the above average Ravi. Bit more depth here, but the stable is flying and he’ll do no work from the soft draw.

Race Six (14:25) : Ranvet Handicap (78) 1350m:

Back Me: 4 Disgraceful (Bet Now: $4.20) comes through the Bullrush race at Randwick three weeks back where he loomed to win the race with 200m to go but he couldn’t quite finish it off and had to settle for third, then second after a successful protest. Dropping back 50m is perfect and he should be ready now fitness wise.
Big Danger: 13 Gambler’s Blues (Bet Now: $9.50) has been given a seven week freshen up since racing over 1500m here when a strong second to the well performed Godolphin galloper Moher. No trials since, so fitness will be the query, but senior rider on from a good gate on the home track.
Roughie: 3 Better Not Blue (Bet Now: $9.00) ran over 1200m here three weeks back and got back in the run where it was a race suited for those near the tempo when midfield to Le Cordon Bleu. The two runs prior behind subsequent multiple stakes winner Danish Twist were excellent and this is a winnable race if he finds his best.

Race Seven (15:05) : McGrath Estate Agents Handicap (85) 1500m:

Back Me: 12 Surfin’ Safari (Bet Now: $10.00) is on the back up after racing over this track/distance a fortnight back where he made up nice ground from the back to run sixth to impressive winner So Willie. He’s hard to trust, but that run was encouraging and this is a winnable assignment.
Big Danger: 9 Invinzabeel (Bet Now: $3.50) is on the back up after racing at Canterbury on Monday behind Duca Valentinois. Some were saying he should have won…I’m not so sure about that because the winner was just travelling too well IMO. But as I keep saying, you always have to respect Waller horses on the turnaround.
Roughie: 2 Magical Stance (Bet Now: $4.80) resumed over 1200m here a fortnight back and closed off strongly from near last to run third to impressive winner Grande Punto. He excels second up and once again, the claim for Adkins is a big tick.

Race Eight (15:35) : Hyland Race Colours Handicap (84) 1800m:

Back Me: 11 Piamimi (Bet Now: $12.00) looks the way to go here for me. She was very good first up in the Luskin Star behind stablemate Clearly Innocent before coming to the 1500m here where I really thought the ride on her wasn’t the best behind Kellyville Flyer. Senior jock aboard now, down in the weights and she’ll love the step up in trip. I’m buttering up on her big time.
Big Danger: 15 Thurston (Bet Now: $10.00) had his first run for Chris Waller at Randwick a fortnight back and closed off very nicely between runners when sixth to the unbeaten Bullrush. Enormous upside with this horse and he’ll eat up the extra distance.
Roughie: 14 Just As Cosmic (Bet Now: $41.00) ran over the 1900m At Canterbury last Wednesday and closed off okay without threatening behind in form made Santa Rocks. Harder here, but does get weight relief and I think she will like the drop back in trip.

Race Nine (16:15) : TAB More Than Just Winning Handicap (85) 1100m:

Back Me: I think there is value in the shape of 12 Prince Mayted (Bet Now: $26.00). He resumed on Beef Week Cup Day at Casino a couple of weeks back and was enormous in defeat given he had to lump 59kg and was wide no cover throughout. Draws gate one now, minimum, great second up record and is proven in town.
Big Danger: 2 Powerline (Bet Now: $4.80) is a very consistent galloper for Kris Lees who is racing so well at the moment, but just can’t quite crack it for a win. Senior rider jumps on now, he draws well and this looks a very winnable race for him.
Roughie: 10 Crooked Blaze (Bet Now: $31.00) also comes through the All Summer Long race at Scone where he got back and had to stick to the inside, which wasn’t really the place to be that afternoon. He is a bit of a dud on wet tracks, so the weather will play a big part to his winning claims.
