A good seven race program has been put together for Gosford on Thursday with maiden races dominating the meeting. The other ‘highlight’ is the 2600m staying race. We do need more staying races added to the calender and this race is going down the path of promoting the tough and gritty gallopers who won’t be world beaters but can show their best at the longer distance.
