The Queensland Summer Racing Carnival starts to ramp up on Saturday at Eagle Farm with the $100,000 Listed Corey Gilby Keith Noud Quality Handicap (1200m) attracting some of the best gallopers from the sunshine state. The feature event honours the memory of 25 year old Corey Gilby, who tragically lost his life during a freak accident in barrier trial that followed the Julia Creek meeting in Queensland on November 12.
