Fourteen juveniles have been accepted for the Group 1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m), Victoria’s premier two year old race.

Sepoy will carry the number one saddlecloth and is expected to be the shortest priced favourite in 30 years.

Trainer Peter Snowden decided this morning not to proceed to the race with the stable’s other entry, Glissade.

As reported yesterday by Just Horse Racing, despite being well down the order, plunge horse Envious has made the field.

He was backed from $71 to $17 when markets first opened, and was backed again with UniTAB on Saturday – seeing his price drop from $201 to $41.

The barrier draw will be conduted later today.
