1 Tikkamos (Bet Now: $8.50) steps up to the mile after a maiden win over 1400m on Balaklava Cup Day, finishing best from near the speed to score. Think the extra 200m is fine and off a win, he commands respect against these.

8 Churchill Rose (Bet Now: $7.00) ran second to Tikkamos in the race mentioned above. She sat off speed and tried hard but had no answers for Tikkamos and had to settle for a second. Down in the weights, she should run well.

7 Holly Angel (Bet Now: $2.70) for me. Real eye catcher on debut on Balaklava Cup Day, working home with real purpose from the back. If she can use the gate and settle closer, I think she is a clear top seed against this lot.

13 Vettura (Bet Now: $5.50) looks hard to beat for Team Stokes after a debut second over 1100m here, sitting off speed and worked home with real purpose late when second. Better for the run and rising to 1200m, she’ll take beating.

9 Yourworstnightmare (Bet Now: $6.50) was slapped in betting when debuting over 1100m at Gawler. Unfortunately for his fans, he just found the trip too short, but worked home with purpose. 1200m, bigger track, room to wind up, he appeals.

1 Ramasis (Bet Now: $2.25) steps up in trip after resuming three weeks ago over 1050m at Morphettville. He landed near the pace and was there to win but first up, condition just gave out. Like him up to 1200m and with the run under the belt, he appeals.

6 Trade Game (Bet Now: $12.00) is a Team Jolly trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since July 15 at Balaklava when finding testing ground and tried hard but felt the pinch late. Jumped out well, keen to see how he goes.

4 Howl (Bet Now: $16.00) is getting on in years but he has a great record at the distance. He ran over this trip at Naracoorte last start and worked home well on a testing track when fourth to Naralinga. Likely will spot them a start but will motor late and is a must for exotics.

13 Zarkana (Bet Now: $14.00) should love getting to 1400m after her first up run over 1200m on Balaklava Cup Day, working home with purpose from off speed when third to Brave Apache. Good upside to come and rising to 1400m, she takes beating.

4 Pretty Perky (Bet Now: $11.00) was an impressive first up winner over 1200m here, sitting off speed and was trucking before being given clear air and away she went to win and win well. Good upside to come and rising to 1400m, she takes beating.

12 Divergent (Bet Now: $13.00) steps up to 1400m after racing two weeks back over 1250m at Morphettville Parks. She landed just off speed and tried hard but couldn’t quite finish her race off. I think 1400m is fine for her and her best is good enough to be dangerous.

9 Talisay (Bet Now: $10.00) has found winning form and she can go on with it. She was an impressive winner three weeks ago over 1800m at Morphettville, sitting off speed before coming with a well timed run to score. She should eat up 2000m and off a win, is hard to beat .

8 Tyusix (Bet Now: $2.65) ran second to Giggenbach a fortnight back at Morphettville Parks. She was in a decent spot in transit and loomed to win but couldn’t quite finish the job. Racing well and should be around the mark.

3 Arugamama (Bet Now: $41.00) steps up to 2000m after racing over 1950m two weeks back at Morphettville Parks. She landed off speed and tried hard but whacked late and was never really a threat behind Giggenbach. Bigger track, 2000m, hard fit, her best is good enough.

6 Canny Miss (Bet Now: $2.90) is a Garret Lynch trained mare that resumed with a bang on Balaklava Cup Day, leading throughout and gave nothing else a look in to win and win well, Good test here but confident she can measure up.

12 Xtramagic (Bet Now: $5.00) is in the mix for Paul Preusker. She ran over 1100m at Bendigo last time and while safely held, I thought she was far from disgraced in a race which had more depth vs this race. Down in the weights, she runs well.

9 Vanlee (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Michael Hickmott trained mare that resumes. She didn’t quite fire when last in work but at the same time did have excuses. She’s been given a good break and to my eye, looks to have trialled up very well, so watch betting.

12 Light The Night (Bet Now: $6.00) is bursting to win. He ran second to The Cosmic One two weeks ago, trying hard from near the speed but just failed to get there. He will be strong late, and with a more patient steer, he’ll be more effective.

8 Cash (Bet Now: $6.50) is several weeks between runs since resuming over this trip at Morphettville. He got into a decent spot in transit and tried hard but first up, condition gave way late. Fitter, home track advantage, he clearly appeals against these.

4 Chicago Storm (Bet Now: $34.00) is a David Aldridge trained veteran that resumes. His last run was May 23 at Sandown when down the track on very shifty ground. He ran last in a trial here, but I thought did move quite well and he does go well fresh, so I think he’ll run a beauty.

1 Air Assault (Bet Now: $11.00) is bursting to win and I think he gets a great chance here. He looked all over the winner in the Balaklava Cup last time out but just couldn’t quite get past Sav On Ice, who was too tough from on speed and found. Hard fit, good racing style, he takes beating.

2 St Lawrence (Bet Now: $3.90) commands respect. He was an impressive winner at Flemington last time and yes, the pattern was in his corner but even allowing for that, he was dominant in a field which was stronger than this, so he is a clear threat.

14 Darknconfidential (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to the mile after resuming over 1250m at Morphettville Parks two weeks ago. He got back off speed, was beaten for early pace, and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and finding the line. Good upside to come, not dismissing.

1 Chakado (Bet Now: $5.00) is four weeks between runs for Team Stokes since a dominant first up win at Morphettville Parks, leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in to win and win well. He’ll find the top here, roll along and take running down.

11 You Sexy Thing (Bet Now: $5.50) is in a purple patch for Travis Doudle. She comes back to 1400m after a win three weeks ago at Morphettville, leading throughout and just had enough in hand to score. Back to 1400m is fine, she is a key chance.

2 Placo (Bet Now: $7.50) comes here with fresh legs for Luke O’Connor, having not raced since Aug 8 at Morphettville when on speed and dropped out badly to finish tailed off behind Like A Tiger. Has trialled well since so I say watch betting and see what it does.
