Ten races will be run and won at Morphettville this Tuesday. The weather is fine, the track is good (4) and the rail is out nine metres from the 1200m-Winning Post; Out six metres for the remainder.

5 Paganini (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win his maiden I feel and does seemingly strike a winnable maiden to my eye. He ran over 1500m on Gawler Cup Day when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat I thought behind Fiabesca when third. Like him up to 1800m, should be effective late, like him.

8 Golden Gury (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is clearly hard to beat after his Hill Smith Stakes effort. He was smashed in betting but just got too far out of his ground and was never really a factor behind stablemate Freedom Flame. Back to maiden grade, he clearly appeals.

11 Lai Flipper (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the quick back up after racing over this trip at Clare last Sunday. She didn’t appear totally suited on the tight track when off speed and kept chasing when third to King Edward. Not sure she is good enough to win but can run first four.

3 Flying Zulu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me. Chris Bieg trained gelding that resumed over 1100m on Gawler Cup Day where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good late. Better set up here and if he can settle closer, he’ll be effective late and can take this out.

4 Harmonic Dancer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1100m here in a benchmark race when on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late behind Golden Horizon. Looks to land on speed and fitter, up in trip, back to maiden great, he is a key threat.

9 Forever A Diamond (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1200m after attempting to lead throughout in an 1100m maiden on Gawler Cup Day. She gave a good sight from the front but just felt the pinch late in the piece. 1200m is the query but has a good racing style.

12 Ratadash (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks the straight bat play. Runner up at this track/distance last start when wide no cover and doing work but she kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat behind Kick Your Knees Up. If she has petrol in the tank, she’s clearly top seed.

6 Royal Scripture (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is one to watch. Richards/Moyle trained four year old that resumes after a three run career to date where he has been solid without jumping up and down. Looks to have trialled up very well and this race is quite thin so watch betting/yard.

7 Sir Monica (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was quite game in defeat at Strathalbyn last start when wide no cover, making a sustained run despite that set up, and while held late, I thought she was quite brave when third. Gets in well after the claim, Blinkers on, a first four threat.

1 Smiling Assassin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be taking care of these. He has been racing really this time in, taking on much stronger opposition, his latest run being at this track/distance when a closing third to the in form Arugamama, who would be $1.10 here. That form is surely good enough to take care of this lot.

3 Alpine Rocket (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 2500m after racing over 2400m at Geelong when back and wide in the run and was never really a factor behind Haaland. Depth here is nowhere near as deep, he can bounce back.

5 Jugan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is better suited at this level. Finished down the track in the Arugamama race mentioned above. She got back in the run and although she did make up minor headway, she was never really threatening. First four threat at a price.

2 Bad Detective (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has to be forgiven for the last start flop over 1400m at Murray Bridge. He was wide no cover on speed throughout and tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece after doing the work. 1600m, I think, is fine, and this isn’t a deep contest.

1 Mellifluent (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to the mile after racing over 1350m at Strathalbyn last time out where he got into a decent spot off speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when second to impressive winner Thebigsosso. 1600m should be okay and has upside.

7 Urbanise (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1600m after a solid effort over 1500m on Gawler Cup Day. She got into a decent spot off speed and did try hard but just couldn’t quite get there when third. Not a strong race so she’s in with a shout.

2 Collated (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can certainly go on with it. That win came last start over 1700m on Gawler Cup Day when leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in, winning by a space and running good time. Tricky draw but will press forward and off last start, he’s clearly top seed.

1 Bit Of A Rebel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a tough, tough winner of the Mindarie-Halidon Cup. He was was on speed and there to be run down but he just kept finding to fend them off and get the job done. Good racing style, in well after the claim, he’s in the mix.

3 Grinzinger Bishop (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the quick back up after racing here on Saturday when off speed and just whacked in the run to the line behind Mr George. Not a deep race this, so I’d be including him in exotics.

4 Sav On Ice (Bet Now:  $SP.00) seemingly only runs for Rochelle Milnes and now she is back on the four year old, I think he can bounce back. He hasn’t raced since the Sandown Stakes when thrown in the deep end and was never really a factor behind Evaporate. Fresh legs, Milnes back on, he’ll do me.

1 Air Assault (Bet Now:  $SP.00) bounced back to winning form last start, finishing best in a driving go to take out the Gawler Cup. He’s found winning form and does have the class. 1800m should be fine, he’s around the mark.

5 Snoopy Now (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the quick back up after winning here on Saturday. He got into a decent spot in transit just off speed and looked the winner a long way out, finishing best. Fittter and up in trip, good upside, touch of quality, he can win again.

1 Rob The Bank (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since a first up win at Gawler. He gave them a start and a beating, knuckling down with purpose late to win and win well. Tick over trial last week was strong, good upside, he takes beating.

6 Navy Gold (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Bain/Taylor trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since May 10 over 1800m here when off speed and failed to come on when down the track behind Wine Barron. Looks to have trialled well for the return and can sprint well fresh.

4 Royal Fox (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is better suited over further but he has run well at 1200m previously and is down in the weights after the claim. He had a mixed prep when last in work but at times looked pretty decent. Likely spots them a start but will be strong late.

1 One Kind (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. Travis Doudle trained mare that won at Clare last start, getting a decent run in transit near the speed before being clicked up by Tootell and in a driving go, was too good. Lands near the front, will be out of trouble and running a positive race.

3 Cararada (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1100m at Murray Bridge several weeks ago. She got a fair way out of her ground and was never really a factor, perhaps in need of the run. Two time track/distance winner, she’s in the mix.

15 Reine Of Nine (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran midfield in the same Murray Bridge mentioned above, won by Lucky Duck. She was back near last in the run and made up decent headway in defeat when midfield. If within range, she has the finale to be dangerous.

19 Putanothercoinin (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps in the last. I don’t think he’s been too bad his past couple, getting back off speed and has made up headway without threatening each time he has stepped out. If he can get a drag into the race, be within range, he can win.

1 Heaven Rocks (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Jolly trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since July 2 over 900m at Murray Bridge when failing to come on in a pretty plain finale behind Sun Flipper. Looks to have trialled well and strikes a thin race.

5 Costless (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. He’s now with Garret Lynch, a stable that can improve a tried horse. His last run was Oct 6 at Gawler when on speed and just tiring late behind Trantoro. I’d watch betting and see what it does.
