6 One Brother (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bred to eat up 2500m and has the Mick Kent polish. He ran over 2000m here last Friday night when off speed and held up at times but when clear, he was quite one paced in the run to the line. The rise in trip, I see, as a positive, and he has upside/progression.

4 Just Landed (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door for Cindy Alderson. He was odds on over 2200m at Werribee last start and seemed to have his chance from off speed, closing well but found one better in Forever Well. Back up in trip, he appeals.

7 Shades Of Sheriff (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the quick back up after racing over 1675m at Wagga Riverside last Saturday where he got back to near last in the run and was never a factor on the bog. Back up in trip should be fine…doubt he wins, he is a first four threat.

3 Florina Region (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is short enough but she does look to have a bit on these. She ran over 1200m here two weeks ago where she got a dream sit in transit behind the speed before angling wider and she tried hard but just couldn’t quite finish the race off. The rise to 1500m should be fine, maps perfect and has the upside/progression that the rest simply do not have.

7 Stormriser (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate getting to 1500m after racing over 1400m a fortnight back here. She got off speed but was forced quite wide on the turn in order to make her run and she tried hard but had to settle for a third to Blacklist. 1500m is ideal and maps perfect.

8 Towntotown (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the quick back up after racing last Thursday night over the mile at Pakenham when off speed and kept chasing but did have her chance when fourth to Empress Of The Sun. Hard fit now, should be strong late, a definite threat if the fav is off her game.

8 Somethingintheair (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top. Team Williams trained three year old that is on debut off the back of extensive trial/jumpout work, the latest being at Caulfield Heath when fourth and moved well enough I thought. Lobs in a beaut spot from the inside gate and the depth here isn’t deep.

11 Parish Priest (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Ciaron Maher trained son of Wootton Bassett that is on debut. He has had three jumpouts to get ready for start one and each time has caught my eye, the latest seeing him run second over 1000m here so he’s had a good grounding and maps ideally.

5 O’Mosa (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Squamosa that is on debut for Doug Harrison. This guy has had extensive trial/jumpout work for start one, where each time he hasn’t looked too bad to my eye. Stable finds Frog to ride for the debut and he does look the horse that will be strong at the end of 1200m.

3 Brandjam (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has returned well and should take beating after resuming four weeks ago over 1000m here. He did early work to hold the fence and lead. He tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite see it through when second to Soju. Fitter and up in trip, and I think with a more patient steer, he’s effective and hard to beat.

9 Royal Invader (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with freh legs, having not raced since April 10 at Pakenham when placing over 1400m behind the then in form Sirius Statement, who went on to be a city winner, so that reads well and back to 1200m should be fine.

12 Irrefutably (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Freedman trained filly that resumes. Her last run came on Sep 23 at Warrnambool when a real eye catcher late behind Imminent Storm. She’ll be spotting them a start but I think she’ll be strong late.

2 Reasonable Point (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form for Ben Brisbourne and she can go on with it. That win came over 1000m at Wangaratta when wide no cover but was trucking before being clicked up by King and away she went to gap her rivals in impressive fashion. Maps perfect, gets the claim, keen.

8 New York Star (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs for Simon Zahra, having not raced since April 4 when an on speed winner at this track/distance in breaking the maiden tag. Good racing style, should overcome the wide gate and be around the mark.

6 Phantom Prince (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Duporth that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Sep 19 over 1300m here when off speed snd kept finding the line without threatening behind Stormfront. 1000m is on the short side, he’ll spot them a start but be strong late.

7 Dramaticus (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top for me. Team Freedman trained gelding that has had two runs back from a spell, both coming over 1300m, the latest coming at Bendigo when off speed and kept finding the line with purpose. Hard fit now and up to 1600m, he rates highly for me.

6 Nana’s Wish (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1500m at Sale. She got into a decent spot behind the speed and although held up at times, she had her chance when fourth to Howdy. She has a touch of quality about her and a hood second up record.

2 Docinthe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a query at the mile but Mitch Freedman has him going very well. He gave them a start and a beating to win over 1400m at Ballarat last time, letting down with a strong finale to score. If the 1600m is okay, then he is right in the mix.

2 Mishare (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs for Bevan Laming since a dominant first up win at this track/distance where she got a dream sit in behind before angling clear and she made a mess of them. Natural upside/improvement, she’s the one to beat.

7 Savvyrocker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is suited up to 1400m for Moody/Coleman after resuming over 1300m here where she got off speed and took a little while to wind into her work but was good late. Might want another run and 1600m but has good upside and is in well after the claim.

6 Mislead (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1200m at Pakenham when wide no cover but despite the hard run, she tried her guts out but just felt the pinch late. Dangerous if she can overcome the tricky draw.
