3 Watadeel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Balaklava Cup behind Sav On Ice. He got back off speed but tracked up nicely and loomed to win but just couldn’t quite get there when third. Racing well and only has to hold his form to be around the mark.

2 Pudding (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second in the Balaklava Cup last start. He got into a lovely spot in transit near the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get involved and couldn’t quite get past Sav On Ice. Has to be respected given how well he’s racing.

1 Goldrush Guru (Bet Now:  $SP.00) jumps straight to 1550m after resuming over 1100m in the Whylie. He just found them too sharp and was never really a factor behind Watchme Win. Like him up in distance and he is the clear class factor so don’t dismiss him.

3 Lavish Thinker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) sat on speed two weeks ago on the course proper here. He tried his guts out but just couldn’t quite get there when second to the in form Rabtat. That was his first run in a month so with upside/improvement, he’s dangerous.

5 Infinity Imperial (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Liam Howley trained mare that placed four weeks ago over 2500m on the course proper to Paradise Storm, sitting off speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Lands in a good spot from the gate, trip no issue, rates highly.

2 Dixie Whistler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is somewhat of an iron mare for Richards/Moyle and should be around the mark. She ran over 2500m on the course proper a fortnight back when leading and tried hard as she always does but just felt the pinch late in the piece. Good racing style, she’ll be around the mark.

13 Skadoosh (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1000m after racing over 1100m two weeks ago on the course proper. She got off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Snow Mercy. Back to maiden grade, she appeals.

1 Golden Tunes (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect. He has done little wrong in two runs to start his career, placing each time, the latest seeing him lead throughout and he gave a strong kick but couldn’t quite see it through. Good racign style, he’s around the mark.

6 Bold Starlet (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Needs Further trained filly that is on debut off the back of encouraging trial and jumpout work. The stable had a few nominated for this race so will be interesting to see how this girl goes.

7 Thunder Shoc (Bet Now:  $SP.00) commands respect for Will Clarken. Total forgive two weeks ago on the course proper here when four/five wide the trip, albeit with cover, but she was never really a factor behind Imminence. Good track/distance stats, she takes beating against these I say.

1 Sharendipity (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. She got a fair way out of her ground and while she was never a winning threat, I really liked the way she finished her race off in defeat behind Madam Jeanette. If within range, she has the finale to score.

6 Lottie Jane (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Imminance race from two weeks back on the course proper here. She seemingly did have her chance but was close up and far from disgraced in defeat. Not sure she wins but a must for exotics.

2 Warparty (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a strong winner two weeks ago over this trip on the course proper here, getting better as the race went on to win and win well. This race looks no harder so I say he’s one of the leading contenders.

5 Bad Detective (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday at this track/distance when attempting to lead throughout and he gave a decent kick from the front but just couldn’t quite see it through. I think with front end control, he’s dangerous.

4 Thermodynamic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is four weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. He got off speed and kept chasing without really threatening behind Placo. He’s not the most reliable horse going around but he’s going well enough to be a first four prospect.

8 Guru Warrior (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1950m after racing over 1541m two weeks ago on the course proper here. He got off speed and spotted those in front a start but did like the way he finished his race off in defeat behind Savsonic. Hard to beat with the distance increase.

3 The Mansman (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran second to Anthracite a fortnight back here. He got off speed but tracked up well and loomed to beat the boom horse but on the line was held when second. He’s bursting to win and strikes a winnable race.

4 Cullen Skink (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing over 1550m here last Saturday where he just found them a bit sharp and was a bit one paced but stayed on and was far from disgraced in defeat. Like him up in trip and his best is good enough.

1 Karacasu (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a track/distance win. He gave them a start and a beating, getting better as the race went on to knuckle down and score. He’s found winning form, he can go on with it here.

4 Zoupurring (Bet Now:  $SP.00) resumed with a bang two weeks ago on the course proper here. HE got a lovely run in transit before angling clear and he knuckled down with real purpose late to win and win well. Upside/improvement to come, he’s in the mix.

3 Dual Pressure (Bet Now:  $SP.00) drops a fair way in grade/depth after resuming in the Whylie when outclassed but far from disgraced in defeat behind Watchme Win. Much better suited at this level, can be ridden with more intent, dangerous against these.

6 Nicish (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is bursting to win again and I think she gets a great chance here, four weeks since a placing on the course proper here when near the speed and was there to threaten but just couldn’t quite get there behind Cash. Good record on the Parks track, she is the straight bat play.

7 Bellezze (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since a strong win at this track/distance, giving them a start and a beating to win her maiden in impressive fashion. Good test here, but think she can measure up.

1 Bristler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing here when four wide no cover and the hard run just told on him late in the piece behind Left Turn Clyde. Better run in transit, he’s good enough to be a threat here.

10 Leaving Las Vegas (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m for Phillip Stokes after racing over 1541m on the course proper here. He got off speed and tracked up with purpose, looming but just couldn’t quite get there. Back to 1400m is ideal and he commands respect.

11 Extra Hot (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance. She got back nearer the inside but tracked up nicely before angling clear and worked home well late when second to Alainge. She’ll be strong at the end. Just doesn’t want to get too far back.

3 Pearl Adios (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at this track/distance when off speed, wide, and just never really got involved behind Nasho. If he can get luck from the tricky gate, he’s a threat.

NEXT BEST: Race One Number 3 Watadeel

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 1 Karacasu
