Back Me: 3 Cool Passion (Bet Now: $1.50) just picks himself here. Impressive winner here a fortnight back, and really it was comfortable. Meets some handy types here, but he is just well above average and should win with normal luck.
Big Danger: 2 Gigante (Bet Now: $11.00) has been given a three week freshen up since placing behind the form galloper in Perth at the moment, Vega Magic. Not sure he can beat Cool Passion, but he will run well for sure.
Roughie: 5 Malibu Style (Bet Now: $4.60) resumed behind Cool Passion in that race mentioned above and tried hard but just lacked the killer punch. Not sure she can win again, but is a must for exotics.

Roughie: 1 Checkpoint (Bet Now: $10.00) drops in grade after contesting the Hyperion where he ran a game fifth to star mare Wink And A Nod. This looks more his level and the claim for Casey really helps.

Back Me: I would have ruled out 8 Wink And A Nod (Bet Now: $1.95) here at the trip, but given the lack of opposition, she looks the one. The Hyperion win was brave and given the field, the distance shouldn’t be an issue.
Big Danger: 5 Zarantz (Bet Now: $2.80) resumed in the Hyperion at big odds and tried hard but was just outgunned late by Wink And A Nod. The rise in trip will suit him more than the mare, and with luck, he can turn the tables.
Roughie: 7 Balmont Girl ran in the Hyperion and she just looked a little flat second up. Up in trip looks her go, and the small field is going to really suit her. Knockout chance.

Back Me: 13 State Solicitor (Bet Now: $1.40) resumed at the midweeks here last Wednesday and though he didn’t beat much, gee it was impressive, and this race doesn’t look to have much depth, so I think the horse on the rise will get the job done.
Big Danger: 11 Nardini (Bet Now: $21.00) was a solid winner two back before racing a fortnight later and battled in running fifth. She hasn’t quite lived up to her early promise, but this race isn’t strong and she could surprise.
Roughie: 3 Grey Enigma is an absolute beauty who is never far away from the action. He ran here last weekend and tried hard when running fourth to the potential star Vega Magic. He is tough and will be strong late.
