10 Sirius Black (Bet Now:  $SP.00) each way for me in a bludger of a contest. He ran two weeks ago at Morphettville Parks when just off speed and he chased with purpose in the straight when second to the very much in form Rabtat. He’ll have no issue with the 2550m and the depth here isn’t overly deep.

4 Karburan (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up tp 2550m after racing over 2400m at Sandown last start when on speed and he tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through when fourth to Dreams Come True. He is a previous winner at the track and has a good racing style.

7 Highland Bling (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise in trip after racing over 1800m at Sandown when first up. He just looked in need of the run and will be better for it. Good upside vs most here, he’s one of the knockout hopes.

2 There Were Roses (Bet Now:  $SP.00) will love getting to 1800m after debuting over 1500m at Sandown. She got a mile out of her ground but really liked the way she closed off in defeat when a narrow second to Engine Of War. Fitter and up in trip, she’s a leading contender.

4 Seychelles (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a knockout hope after debuting over 1500m at Geelong. She got off speed and took a little while to wind into her work but was good late in the piece when third. Race has opened up now so she commands respect.

3 Classic Gem (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third pick, but I’d say a distant third pick. That said, she did run fifth in the Engine Of War race mentioned above and was a real eye catcher from the back. Not sure she turns the tables but runs a positive race.

10 Yachiyo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like a rise to 1800m for Price/Kent. She ran over the mile two weeks ago at The Valley when on speed before booting clear and was hailed as the winner, only to get nabbed late by Jazz Affair. Good upside to come, lands on speed, takes beating.

2 She’s A Hustler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Grahame Begg trained mare that resumes. She has Stakes ambitions you would assume so fresh at 1800m does signal some form of intent. She has class on her side and her jumpout work to get ready has been more than encouraging.

6 Brave Miss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1800m for Team Freedman after racing over 2100m at Sandown where she was game in defeat but did seemingly have her chance, just failing to see it through. Like her back in trip…doubt she wins, but is a first four prospect.

4 Gala Queen (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is getting towards last chance territory. Ripping first up run but her two subsequent runs…I think the jury is out. Beaten by a star in On Display three weeks ago, but I would have liked to see her finish the race off better. No horse of that class/quality here, FINALLY at Flemington…keen.

14 Chest Of Gold (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a four year old for Julius Sandhu that is heading in the right direction. He was dominant at Sandown last start, landing on speed and was trucking before being clicked up and away he went. Leading contender.

9 Black Peppermint (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Team Payne trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since March 26 at Sandown over 3000m when producing an end of prep run, never reall6 being a factor. Likely gets back to near last in the run but should be strong late.

4 Federer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks really well placed here IMO. Ciaron Maher trained gelding that hasn’t quite set the world on fire this time in but has had a mini freshen up and a recent jumpout at Cranbourne was quite good. If he brings his best, I think he’ll take beating.

12 Jareth (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 2000m after racing over 1800m at Caulfield when seemingly having his chance but the form out of the race, won by Unlimited, was franked deluxe yesterday. 2000m is fine, leading contender.

14 Kaazi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a close relation to Zaaki. He won’t reach the levels of that horse, but he’s progressive and has won two on the bounce with ideal placement and has been impressive. Good test here but think he can measure up.

12 Sun Setting (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1100m after a win over 1000m when on speed throughout and she was absolutely trucking before being clicked up and away she went. Extra 100m is fine, she will take a power of beating.

5 Deepfloat Diva (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat here I say. He ran over 1000m at Sandown last start where the track was a touch on the shifty side and I am not sure he was 100% comfortable on the ground when fourth to Tonkin. Better suited here I feel, he appeals.

7 Prinzerro (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Phillip Stokes trained gelding that resumes. He hasn’t raced since May 17 at Morphettville Parks when near the speed and just failing to see it through behind Colmar. Jumpout work has been strong, goes well fresh, watch betting.

2 Autumn Mystery… (Bet Now:  $SP.00) no disrespect to P Moloney, but he has given this horse none in its career and it seems like connections have realised that because B Shinn is now on. The horse is flying and is one of the better maidens going around. If he can get it to settle closer in the run, I think it’s race over. Very keen on his chances.

3 Options (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is 2/2 to start his career and that is all you can do. Lot of quality about his win at Bendigo over the mile last start, getting better as the race went on to win impressively. Heading in the right direction and I don’t see 1800m being an issue. One of the hardest to beat.

10 Matsuba (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is progressive and is one for exotics. He was hard in the market in the Engine Of War race and he did a pretty good job in defeat after leading, giving a strong kick but just felt the pinch late. I think with a bunny to chase, he’ll be more effective.

3 Porter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is worth a throw at the stumps each way. He resumed over 1400m at Sandown where he attempted to lead throughout and tried hard but first up, condition just gave way late. Ideally, I’d love him ridden with a sit, he can be effective late and has good upside.

12 Silver Magnate (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a talented gelding for Beggy. Loved the way he let down to win first up before being beaten last start where he did let punters down, but it was more so the ride from the eventual winner that was so good. He’ll get room to move here and launch late.

11 Comanche Miss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable with her best for Phillip Stokes. Reckon she was ridden a touch warm when resuming in the Eagle Express race, the race mentioned above that Silver Magnate ran second in. I think with a more patient steer, she’ll be more effective.
