12 Me Me (Bet Now: $1.45) looks one of the best on the card. She resumed over this trip at Kembla where she got a beaut run in transit before angling wider and she looked the winner but first up, condition just gave way late. Fitter, massive drop in depth, she’s clearly the one they have to beat.

9 Hell Of A Fox (Bet Now: $5.50) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1400m at Canberra. I thought she had her chance but she was game in defeat when second. Tricky gate to overcome but is hard fit, strong late and overall, this isn’t a deep maiden.

2 Kurrajong (Bet Now: $31.00) is a Paul Murray trained gelding that resumes. This stable loves to target this Carnival and this guy is resuming, having not raced since Aug 30 at Moruya when down the track behind Kool Bird. Moved well in a recent Kembla trial, he’s a first four threat.

6 Spaklenglitter (Bet Now: $1.45) is short enough but she is unbeaten in two starts and does look quite progressive. 2/2 to start her career, the latest win being at Nowra where she led throughout and gave nothing else a look in, winning impressively. Only has to hold her form and she likely wins again.

7 Xspiritous (Bet Now: $7.50) is a key threat. Both runs this time in have come on the home deck at Goulburn where each time she has placed and been pretty good in defeat. Hard fit, good racing style, she’s a key threat.

8 Cassimir (Bet Now: $13.00) comes here as a last start winner, that win being last Saturday at Leeton when a dominant winner, albeit at Non TAB level. But, gee confidence levels are up, she can press forward and is one for exotics.

3 Miss Emma (Bet Now: $12.00) each way for me. This girl led over 1300m at Canberra last time and she gave a strong kick from the front but couldn’t quite see it through, run down late by Rainagain. Good racing style and back to 1200m, she’s one of the hardest to beat.

5 Paparazzo (Bet Now: $2.25) is a key threat. She broke the maiden tag fresh at Benalla where she got a suck run in transit before angling clear and finished best to score. Good upside to come and gets Tyler Schiller to steer.

2 Boom In The Dark (Bet Now: $17.00) is a knockout chance. She did work from the wide gate to lead at Canberra over this trip last start and she gave a decent sight but couldn’t quite see it through when second. Tricky draw but will press forward and be around the mark.

2 Dupli Kate (Bet Now: $4.50) is flying and yes, this is a tough test for her, but it’s hard to knock the way she’s going. She won the Guineas Prelude last start, giving them a start and beating in an electric performance. 1600m at this level should be fine snd with a drag into the race, I think she can finish over the top.

1 Fear No Evil (Bet Now: $3.20) will land on the bunny and take beating. That was the case last time in the Mornington Guineas and he gave a good account of himself but just felt the pinch late behind Movin Out. Likely leads this field up and takes running down.

9 Due Calzini (Bet Now: $9.50) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. Did more than enough fresh over 1300m at Goulburn before going to 1400m here when off speed and while he was never a winning threat, he wasn’t too bad in defeat. Dangerous if he can get a drag into the race.

9 Bon Holler (Bet Now: $1.80) should be taking care of these. She won the Prelude here, getting the beaut run in behind before angling clear and she got better as the race went on to win and win well. See no reason to drop off her and all things being equal, she’s a good thing.

4 Southern Fire (Bet Now: $5.50) looks to have returned well and is one of the leading threats after a first up win over 1175m at Albury where she gave them a start and a beating. Good upside/improvement to come, she’s in the mix if the fav is off her game.

10 Snowy (Bet Now: $6.00) has to be given another look for the Joseph/Jones camp after racing on the home deck at Canberra last time when wide no cover snd that early burn just told on her late in the piece. Better run in transit, she is an improver at odds.

15 So You Pence (Bet Now: $1.50) should be taking care of these for mine. Matty Dale trained filly mare that is lightly raced but is clearly heading in the right direction. She was wide no cover but trucking before being clicked up and way she went to gap her rivals. Heading in the right direction, she’s the one they have to beat, and clearly.

5 Keikoku (Bet Now: $7.50) is a key threat. She ran in the Town Plate Prelude where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she did make up a stack of ground in defeat behind I Am Lethal. The gate is tricky, but the form around her reads well.

8 Chasing A Quid (Bet Now: $16.00) is a few weeks between runs since winning at Gundagai where he got into a decent spot near the speed before being clicked up and he knuckled down with purpose late to win. Good test here, but think he can measure up.

12 Flying Bandit (Bet Now: $4.40) has been earmarked for this race for a couple of months and I reckon he’s cherry ripe. He ran over 1800m on Saturday at Randwick where he got back off the speed and couldn’t quite get there but he stayed on in defeat. Truly run 2000m, down in the weights, strong late…keen to butter up.

8 Bear On The Loose (Bet Now: $7.50) should be better for the first up run, which came at Hawkesbury when on speed throughout and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through. Lands on speed and should prove hard to get past.

4 Jimi Hendrix (Bet Now: $23.00) is third up from a spell and should be at peak fitness. He comes through the Albury Cup where he got a fair way back off the speed but his finale was sound enough in defeat behind Matusalem. Maps to get a sweet run in transit and be effective late.

1 Salute Again (Bet Now: $3.80) has to carry the weight but there is a reason for that. He is the class runner, and by some distance. He ran in the Highway at Randwick last start where he got back in the run and made up good headway in defeat when third. That form clearly reads well and with normal luck, he’s the one to beat.

8 Yam (Bet Now: $4.80) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He ran at Wodonga last start where he had the suck run in behind and tried hard but couldn’t quite get there. Tricky draw but has to be respected against these.

5 Teetotal (Bet Now: $6.50) is capable. He attempted to lead throughout over this trip at Wodonga last start and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. I think with a bunny to chase, he could be more effective and threaten at a price.
