19/7/2025 Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets – Eagle Farm

9 Arisphere (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, having not raced since May 23 at the Gold Coast when off speed over 1000m and was good late in the piece behind Remlaps Angel. Tick over trial was strong and I think with a more positive ride, takes beating.

4 Mr Galazi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is first up for David Murphy and commands respect. He hasn’t raced since March 22 at this track/distance when near the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when third to Super Daisy. No public trials/jumpouts, but the betting says he is here to play.

1 Pantelone (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Glenn Richardson trained gelding that resumes. His last run came on March 29 at Monto when leading and giving a strong kick from the front but just felt the pinch late. He’ll land near the front and only run well.

2 Berezka (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a filly with an engine under the hood. She got a bit too far out of her ground a few weeks back at Rosehill but liked the way she finished her race off in defeat behind King’s Secret. If she can settle closer and be within range, she has the finale to score.

4 Without Paralell (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a daughter of Time Test that resumes for Matty Dunn. This girl was 2/2 in the Autumn at Murwillumbah and Lismore respectively, looking every bit a nice horse. Spelled and her two trials to get ready have been strong.

1 Just Precious (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should love the rise to 1200m after resuming over 1000m two weeks ago at the Sunny Coast. She just found them too sharp, was run off her legs, but was quite good late in the piece without threatening. Fitter and up to 1200m, back a fair way in depth, she takes beating.

4 Northern Decree (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. He ran behind Deep Respect two weeks ago at the Sunny Coast and I really liked the way he finished his race off in defeat albeit he was never a winning threat. Like him up in trip and can settle much closer in the run.

8 Aerial Dancer (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing in the Tatts Mile when on speed and tried hard but just lacked the class to go with them late in the piece. Back to this level, she can run a much improved race.

6 Just Flying (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up to the mile after racing over 1400m a fortnight back at the Sunny Coast. He got off speed and while he was held up at times, he was okay late in the piece behind Deep Respect. Third up and hard fit, he’s a threat at odds.

9 Chica Mojito (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Tatts Mile from three weesk ago at this track/distance. She got into a good spot behind the speed and tried hard but had to settle for a third to The Inflictor. Has returned in good order and is one of the hardest to beat.

3 Cosmic Vega (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over this track/distance in the Tatts mile where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was pretty good late in the piece behind The Inflictor. His best is clearly good enough.

7 This’llbetheone (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an improver at odds for Jack Bruce. He resumed over 1400m at the Sunny Coast two weeks back and just looked in need of the run behind Deep Respect but was far from disgraced in defeat. Better for the run and up in trip, he’s an improver.

1 Betterlucknexttime (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Bruce McLachlan Classic two weeks back at the Sunny Coast. He did make up headway after getting a fair way out of his ground but was never a factor. Dangerous if he can settle closer.

2 Pretty Dubious (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is capable for Rob Heathcoate. He resumed in the same race as Betterlucknexttime. He just got too far out of his ground and was never a factor. If he can settle closer in the run, he’s dangerous enough to threaten.

4 Brereton (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like he will eat up a fast run 1000m after racing four weeks ago over 1100m at Ipswich. He got a fair way out of his ground and while he was never a winning threat, he kept chasing and was pretty good in defeat I thought behind Zouperb. Fitter, up in trip, bigger track, he appeals.

6 Maximum Output (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is suited at the short course and is a key chance. He ran over 1100m a few weeks back at Ipswich. He attempted to lead throughout and gave a strong kick but just couldn’t quite see it through when third to Zouperb. Good racing style and like him back to 1000m.

5 Zouperb (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a definite threat after her dominant win two back at Ipswich before racing two weeks back at the Sunny Coast when off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort in defeat behind impressive winner Chakra Boy. Good test here but hard to knock the way she’s racing.

7 Pivotal Lad (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up to 1400m for Tony Gollan. He ran over 1200m two weeks ago at the Sunny Coast where he got back to near last and while he was never a winning threat, his finale in defeat was pretty good. If he can settle closer, be within range, he’ll be hard to hold out.

10 Big Boy George (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing like a rise to 1400m will suit for Mark Currie. Formerly with Claire Lever, he won his first two runs for the stable, both on the home deck at Toowoomba before going to the Sunny Coast a fortnight back when near the speed and tried hard but just lacked the quality to see it through. Racing like 1400m suits and this isn’t a deep contest.

1 Liberty Steps (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1400m after resuming over 1200m on the home deck of the Sunny Coast two weeks back. He got a fair way out of his ground and made up decent heaway late in a good return behind King Yoshi. Fitter, 1400m, good upside, he’s dangerous.

7 Neil (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over 1000m here. He got off speed and spotted those in front a start but worked home strongly late when second to Miss Personality. Fitter and up in distance, he’ll take beating.

2 Benzou (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks suited up to 1200m after racing over 1000m at the Sunny Coast a fortnight back. He got off speed and was run off his legs early but picked up and was good late in the piece behind Overfull. Up in trip, can settle closer, dangerous.

5 Kiwi Spirit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks like he has an engine under the hood for Team Archibald. Nice win last start at the Sunny Coast, giving them a start and a beating, producing good late splits in scoring. Harder here, but think he can measure up.

7 Caspernova (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks ready to win for Rob Heathcoate. He has been runner up in both outings this prep, firstly at Doomben before going to the Sunny Coast two weeks ago where he looked the winner when presented but just found one better in King Yoshi. Hard fit, great record at Eagle Farm, he takes beating.

10 Zelgaria (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Matty Dunn trained gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Feb 12 at Ipswich when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Surfers Royale when third. Given a good break. Not really a noted fresh but his trial work to get ready has been quite strong.

14 Bonded Affair (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. Both runs back have come on the home deck at the Sunny Coast, winning impressively fresh over 1000m before going to 1200m two weeks back where he got back and made up good ground late behind Mr Verse. Hard fit, can settle closer, dangerous.

NEXT BEST: Race Four Number 9 Chica Mojito

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 7 Pivotal Lad
