9 Bullemor (Bet Now: $8.50) will do me in the opener as an on top selection, but, it is a bludger of a race on paper. Brett Dodson trained juvenile that debuts and the fact they debut here vs waiting an extra few weeks for Coffs Harbour, to me, signals intent. Looked to trial up very well here last week and with luck from the gate, only runs well.

4 Kobi Express (Bet Now: $17.00) was kept quite safe in betting when racing over this trip at Coffs Harbour, landing on speed and tried hard but just felt the pinch late. Better for the run, gets the claim…he does seem a big price.

7 Luck Of Grace (Bet Now: $201.00) was unwanted in betting when debuting at the Gold Coast and just looked in need of the run when down the track behind Starlightning. This is a serious drop in overall depth IMO so I wouldn’t dismiss her.

11 Edge Of Infinity (Bet Now: $4.60) should appreciate getting to 1700m after racing over 1300m at Eagle Farm when off speed and worked home pretty well late in the piece when second. The rise in trip suits and overall, this race isn’t overly deep.

10 Bassett’s Choice (Bet Now: $21.00) kept chasing with purpose last start over the mile at Beaudesert when second, but did have her chance and has had a few chances to break the tag. Tricky gate but hard to knock the way she’s racing.

13 Kiwi Harmony (Bet Now: $41.00) was far from disgraced last Sunday at this track/distance. She lobbed into a pretty good spot just off speed and whacked late when fourth. Not sure I could back her to win but is a must for exotics.

7 Firm Agreement (Bet Now: $1.60) should be taking care of this field and I am surprised around even money is available (Monday night). He just looks to have panels on these. He had the A1 run in transit at Ipswich last time, he had to put them away and he rightfully did. His confidence is up now, he can go on with it.

2 Barazin (Bet Now: $4.20) was several weeks between runs and back in trip when racing in the Gatton Cup last time. He got back off speed and was never a factor but kept chasing and found the line well enough. Better set up here, he’s dangerous.

3 Claim The Crown (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over 1900m at Canterbury. He landed in a decent spot near the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there. Lands in front here and should run a positive race.

1 Storm Merchant (Bet Now: $2.00) is short enough but if he’s all good after last start, he should be winning. On face value, he was horrendous in the Highway at Randwick last time behind Chains Of Love, but was found to be 1/5 lame. Back to 1100m, back miles in grade/depth, he’s a clear top seed.

3 Alleze (Bet Now: $6.00) is a Matty Dunn trained galloper that resumes and returns to racing as a gelding. His last run was May 13 at Ipswich when down the track behind Fasvara. Returns to racing as gelded and his trial last week at Grafton was quite good.

5 Tides Turning (Bet Now: $15.00) steps up to 1100m after racing over 1000m at Wyong. She was wide throughout and that run just told on her late. Maps much better this time around…doubt she wins but can run a drum.

5 Vixenette (Bet Now: $2.30) steps up to the mile after racing over 1350m at Ipswich last start. She got back off speed and just battled without threatening. Gets Bullock aboard, she’ll be strong late and her best is clearly good enough.

4 Captain Eagle (Bet Now: $6.00) is in the mix. He hasn’t raced since June 24 when far from disgraced over the mile at Doomben. Stable switch for him and a massive drop in grade/depth, I say he is to be respected.

10 Ichika (Bet Now: $7.00) was pretty good in defeat at Tamworth last start when off the pace and worked home pretty well late in the piece when third. Maps to stalk the speed and should be effective at the end.

To me, it is a race in two and I am siding with 1 Hillier (Bet Now: $4.00), who comes through the Winx Guineas. He got off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a good effort in defeat. Lumps the weight, but lands in a plum spot and does have class on his side.

3 Rustemo (Bet Now: $1.75) ran a game third in the Winx Guineas. He got into a decent spot in transit and loomed to win but just couldn’t quite see it through. Tricky gate, but has the right form on the board and is one of the leading contenders.

9 Swag (Bet Now: $7.50) has a tricky gate to overcome but he does come here in form after taking out the Guineas Prelude where he looked a good thing on paper and duly saluted. If he can get luck from the gate, he’s dangerous.

2 Brudenell (Bet Now: $12.00) just looks an insane price to my eye. He comes through the Healy at Eagle Farm when seemingly having his chance but was plain late. Think this is more his level, he’ll stalk the speed and be quite strong at the end I feel. He only runs well IMO.

10 Harry’s Bar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should land on speed and only run well. Got the job done two back in the Wagga Town Plate before a solid effort in the Bob Charley last time behind Wanaruah. Lands in a plum spot and should be around the mark.

14 World Alliance (Bet Now: $12.00) will need luck but can launch late if the breaks go his way. He ran over 1200m at Randwick last time where he got a fair way out of his ground but really liked the way he finished his race off. If he can use the gate and stalk the speed, he can finish off hard.

4 Barcelona Express (Bet Now: $8.00) on top in a bludger of a race to end the program. He ran over this trip at Grafton last time when off speed and kept chasing in a pretty good effort in defeat when third to Nikody’s Binks. If he can overcome the draw, he should be around the mark.

3 Autumn Miss (Bet Now: $2.45) comes here as a last start winner and commands respect. Strong on speed winner at Casino last time, finding plenty under pressure to fend them off and score. That was her first run in over a month so with room for improvement, she appeals.

10 Critical Time (Bet Now: $6.00) steps up to 1400m after racing over 1250m at Ballina when ridden with intent, landing on speed, and just felt the pinch late. Like the rise to 1400m and with a more patient steer, he can run an improved race.

NEXT BEST: Race Four Number 1 Storm Merchant

LONG SHOT: Race Seven Number 2 Brudenell
