Back Me: Going with Zelady’s Night Out (Best Odds: $2.40). Daughter of Myboycharlie trained by Tony Gollan. Hasn’t been seen at the trials, but the dam is Zelady, and she has produced the very impressive Sydney filly I Am Zelady and Stakes winner Excites Zelady. Both of those horses were sharp early on their respective careers.
Big Danger: Boom Shucka (Best Odds: $3.20) is on the back up from last weekend where she sat on speed and just bolted in to win here. I am very confident the top tip will have ability, but if she is off, then this gelding will repeat the dose from last Saturday.
Roughie: She’s Fast (Best Odds: $26.00) is a smart looking filly debuting for Trevor Miller. Looked sharp in a trial win at the Sunny Coast and was due to debut recently at the Gold Coast but was scratched behind the barriers, and there was market support for her before the incident.

Race Two (14:03) : #Bronxnation Handicap 1050m:
Back Me: Secret Saga (Best Odds: $2.40) scored a strong win over 1200m here two back before going to the Brian Crowley at Randwick where he was far from disgraced behind Counterattack, who went on to place in the Coolmore on Derby Day. Inside gate and back to 1050m. Looks the one.
Roughie: Privlaka (Best Odds: $5.00) is a handy type for Robert Heathcoate who looked pretty good last time in, including a second behind top tip Dram Of Red. Trial win at Deagon was sharp and only carries 52kg after the claim.
Big Danger: Madotti (Best Odds: $6.00) was a shade unlucky last start, getting held up a touch in the straight before eventually getting clear and powering home late for a close up third. Drawn well here, so she won’t be far off and prove hard to beat.

Race Three (14:38) : The Courier Mail Handicap (0MW) 1350m:
Back Me: Keep It Danish (Best Odds: $31.00) for me at a price. She ran at Muswellbrook last start where she worked home okay late behind the above average Prince Manitou. Gets much needed weight relief here and draws well.
Big Danger: Dame Destiny (Best Odds: $4.20) bolted up two back at Ipswich before coming here where she sat on speed and toughed it out very strongly late when running second to Our Lady Mac. Should get every chance from the gate and looms as a definite winning threat.
Roughie: Rich Reward (Best Odds: $7.50) was given a lovely ride by Jimmy Orman when winning at Ipswich last time out when sitting 1/1 before peeling out and letting down strongly late to get the job done. Harder here but Orman sticks and has gate one.

Race Four (15:17) : Construction Skills Queensland Handiap (75) 2200m:
Back Me: Annaman (Best Odds: $10.00) was desperately unlucky when running over 2000m here on Cup Day where he got badly held up near the inside when appearing to travel well. No doubt for mine had he got clear he would have challenged the winner. Gate one now and weight relief.
Big Danger: Rock The Pac (Best Odds: $7.00) was given a peach by D Browne to win over this track/distance a month back, admittedly in a much weaker race than this. Browne jumps off to ride the top tip, which is the lead for mine, but this horse loses nothing with Brad Stewart taking over.
Roughie: The step up in trip should suit Secret Garden (Best Odds: $19.00) who has had two runs back from a spell and has needed the runs under the belt. He is a Stakes performer at this track/distance, and on his best form, he looks so well placed here. Knockout chance for sure.

Race Five (15:52) : One Key Resources Handicap (0MW) 1350m:
Back Me: Marksfield (Best Odds: $5.00) could not have been ridden any better by Jimmy Orman last time out here, and he looked home when he peeled out, but he was bloused late by Magic Dallas. Draw well again and Orman sticks.
Roughie: Homehill (Best Odds: $3.80) was a real eye catcher in the Magic Dallas race mentioned above where he flashed home from near last to run fourth, beaten 0.7L. Draws much better now and drops in weight, so he does look very well placed.
Roughie: Watling (Best Odds: $12.00) got a long way back from a tricky gate last time out when fifth to Neptune Palace, beaten three lengths. Draws much better now and Jeff Lloyd jumps back on, and he rides the gelding well.

Race Six (16:32) : The Courier Mail Handicap (80) 1600m:
Back Me: Deconstructed (Best Odds: $4.80) has really found his niche since coming to Queensland. Toughed it out strongly last start at the Sunny Coast where he won narrowly but impressively. Deserves a crack in town and will take some beating.
Big Danger: Darci’s Affair (Best Odds: $5.50) ran over this track/distance last time out and was given a pearler from Jeff Lloyd to get the job done impressively. This looks no harder, Lloyd sticks and he will be around the mark somewhere for sure.
Roughie: Glorious Red (Best Odds: $11.00) ran fifth in the race Darci’s Affair saluted in, and she was pretty solid in defeat I thought considering she came home from near last on the turn. Colless sticks with her and given she is only third up here, she should have more upside.

Race Seven (17:12) : One Key Resources Keith Noud Handicap 1200m:
Back Me: That’s A Good Idea (Best Odds: $2.40) looks the good thing on the program. Quality galloper for Team Snowden who hasn’t raced since finishing a close second to stablemate Dothraki in the Lightning (1000m) at Randwick. Freshened up, and a recent Randwick trial was fantastic. Just looks so well placed here against this lot.
Big Danger: Steel Zip (Best Odds: $7.00) is a greybeard who has been given a two month freshen up since winning two on the bounce, the latest coming over 1350m here. Should get a soft trip from gate one and is a threat if the top tip is off his game.
Roughie: Neo (Best Odds: $31.00) should be forgiven for his failure first up behind Jumbo Prince given he got stuck wide no cover for the entire trip. Draws much better here and he is a two time second up winner, plus he draws well. Definite improver for mine.

Race Eight (17:48) : Broncos Superstore Handicap (75) 1200m:
Back Me: Giving Dream Of Slips (Best Odds: $6.50) another go here. He was heavily backed when resuming here a fortnight back where he stuffed up the start then was never clear in the straight when running second last to Primal Flight. The trial win prior was very sharp, so I will give him another chance here.
Big Danger: Remagen Bridge (Best Odds: $10.00) copped severe pressure in front when racing at Ipswich last start and that early effort told over the final 75m when tiring to run third to Rich Reward, who is a chance earlier on in the program, so you’ll know by jump time here how strong the form is. Senior rider in D Browne goes on now and draws beautifully after scratchings.
Roughie: The really interesting runner here is Fantisha. (Best Odds: $21.00) She is a quality mare for Steve O’Dea who hasn’t raced since July 19 last year when finishing down the track behind the talented Wingara. She did run well in the 2013 Qld Oaks, so she has the class, and she did look sharp in a recent Deagon barrier trial
