7 Pure Excess (Bet Now:  $SP.00) for me. Dan Morton trained filly that debuted over 1000m down the straight at Pinjarra when off speed, back near last, but really liked the way she closed off late in the piece behind Flying Frankie. Pike on, can settle closer, takes beating.

2 Baby Pearl (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third in the race mentioned above. He was first up and near the speed throughout. He tried hard but just felt the pinch late in the piece. I think with a more patient steer, he’ll be more effective.

3 Awesome Force (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Admire Mars that is on debut. Dan Morton trains this gelding, who has had two trials to get ready for start one and hasn’t been too bad to my eye. He looks to have talent so watch betting and see what it does.

5 My Hidden Universe (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned in very strong order and is the one to beat I say. He resumed with a bang three weeks ago at Belmont when wide no cover but he was trucking. Once clicked up, away he went and he was dominant. If he’s taken no harm from that, he’s clearly the one to beat once again.

3 Prospector’s Pick (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hit and miss but when he is on, he is above average. He was a sharp winner down the straight at Pinjarra a fortnight back, giving them a start and a beating in a strong performance. If he can overcome the tricky gate, he’ll be around the mark.

1 Bayezid (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Tiarnna Noske trained gelding that resumes. This guy is first up, having not raced since Feb 22 at Ascot when wide no cover and just felt the pinch late behind Rocking Gem. He is a horse who can sprint well fresh and his trial work has been encouraging.

3 Royal Gap (Bet Now:  $SP.00) on top but not really a race I want to get involved in. He ran two weeks ago at Pinjarra when off speed, spotting those in front a start, but was good late in the piece behind Kelvinator when fourth. The rise in trip suits and he strikes a winnable race.

7 Master Tactician (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third at Northam last Monday when off speed and was okay late without threatening behind Snipperando when third. If he can settle closer in the run, he’ll be strong late and can win for sure.

5 Sheeza Sheila (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up in grade/depth after racing last Thursday at this track/distance. She had a suck run in transit nearer the inside but just battled late in the piece behind Angel’s My Name. Not sure she wins but can run top four.

4 Let’sdeal (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a good each way gamble here. He ran over 1400m at Pinjarra two weeks ago and was a real eye catcher I thought, closing with purpose in a good effort behind Dun With The Blues. Like him up in trip and if within range, he has the finale to win.

7 First Encounter (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is racing well and can clearly threaten here. He ran over the mile at Northam last Monday when off speed and kept chasing but couldn’t quite get there behind Madame Magic. He was a few weeks between runs there so he has room for improvement and can win.

5 Snazzler (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran fifth in the Madame Magic race mentioned above. He got into a decent spot behind the speed and was there to win but just whacked in the run to the line. I think he’s better ridden with a sit and his best is good enough.

7 Close Talker (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1200m after racing over 1300m two weeks ago at Pinjarra where she got into a decent spot in transit and presented to win but just couldn’t quite see it out. Back to 1200m I like. Just needs luck from the tricky draw.

10 Regal Service (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have returned really well at present and appeals. Michael Grantham trained gelding that was a strong first up winner at Pinjarra before going to Northam last Monday when off speed and worked home with purpose when second. He’ll be strong late snd has good upside to come.

3 Estimator (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Universal Ruler gelding that resumes. He is first up, having not raced since Dec 12 when down the track at Albany behind Oxbridge. Not sure he is good wniugh to win but he can sprint well fresh and has trialled nicely.

13 Ideally (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes back to 1400m for Michaek Grantham but she does look a mare of some promise. She ran over the mile at Pinjarra just over two weeks ago where she gave them a start and a beating, producing a very strong finale from off speed to win and win well. She’ll be strong late. Just depends what start she concedes.

8 Mt Shirataku (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has done little wrong this time in and commands respect. 2/2 this time in, winning impressively fresh over 1100m at Northam before going to 1200m at Pinjarra when leading throughout and he gave nothing else a look in. Good test here against likely types but confident he can measure up.

6 Hafey (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1400m after resuming over 1000m down the straight at Pinjarra where he got too far back but didn’t mind the way he finished his race off in defeat. Like the rise in trip for him. Just depends what start he concedes.

2 Storyville (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has the class, the runs on the board, and I’ll bank on that getting her home. She resumed just over two weeks ago at Pinjarra where she got back to neat last in the run and made up good ground without threatening. More positive ride and I’ll think be too good.

4 Pond Master (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1400m after a win a fortnight back at Pinjarra where he gave them a start and a beating, producing a brilliant finale to score. Good test here against likely types but confident she can measure up.

10 More Heroic (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner for Michael Grantham. He debuted over 1300m at Northam where he gave them a start and a beating, producing a very strong finale late in the piece to score. Good test here, but he looks well above average.

4 Hanchi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks ready to win. Just looked in need of the run fresh behind Richanco two weeks ago at Pinjarra down the straight, getting back to near last in the run but worked home with real purpose late when second to Richanco. Hard fit, 1200m, he appeals.

8 Dance Boss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be better for the first up run, which came over this trip at Pinjarra when off speed and just whacked in the run to the line behind Drakaina. Maps to get a suck run in transit and he has good upside to come.

2 Benji’s (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Toorak Toff that resumes for Cliff Green. He is first up, having not raced since Feb 15 at Pinjarra when leading and giving a decent kick from the front but just felt the pinch late behind Captain Pluto. Not a noted fresh horse but a recent trial was good so watch betting.

LONG SHOT: Race Four Number 4 Let’sdeal
