12/7/2025 Horse Racing Tips and Best Bets – Murray Bridge

5 Ferivia (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks to have a bit on these based on her trial win last week. She tracked the speed before being presented clear and gee she moved well late to win the trial, comfortably beating the well performed stablemate La Roux. If she runs up to that here, I think she wins.

3 Si Senora (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has done little wrong in a two start career and is one of the leading contenders. He was a strong debut winner at Balaklava before racing here four weeks ago when off speed and chased strongly but couldn’t quite get there behind a nice horse, Matahga. Back to 1000m, good form lines, rates highly.

4 Bardigrub (Bet Now:  $SP.00) ran third in the Ferivia trial mentioned above. She led and was pushed out but responded and wasn’t too bad in the run to the line I thought. Good racing style it appears and atable have had a good season with their juveniles.

4 Starts Now (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has found winning form and he can go on with it, that win coming three weeks ago at Morphettville. He had run of the race and presented to be the winner. He did get the win but the margin was only narrow. He’s found winning form, he can win again.

1 Snoopy Now (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes here with fresh legs, five weeks between runs since racing over the mile at Flemington when wide no cover and the hard run just told on her late in the piece behind Taken. Better suited at this level, he appeals.

3 Call Me Vexatious (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He is five weeks between runs since a down the track effort at Morphettville Parks, struggling on the testing track. Tick over trial last week was good and he has a good record at Murray Bridge. Improver at odds.

6 Corona Lad (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is hard to beat here I say. Three weeks between runs since racing over 1800m at Morphettville when off speed and chased strongly but just found one better in Magnetic Edge in a driving go. Like him up to 2000m and strikes a winnable race.

3 Exalted Fire (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has home track advantage and is racing well, with his last run being a second a fortnight back at Morphettville Parks, just failing to get the better of Test The Law. Great record on the home track, he rates highly.

5 Royal Mile (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Test The Law race from two weeks back at Morphettville Parks. He got into a decent spot just off the speed and presented to be some sort of threat but he was plain late. Not sure I could back him to win but is one for exotics because his best is good enough.

5 Daisydoo (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an absolute beauty for Justin Pickering and is one of the hardest to beat after a couple of wins on the bounce before racing at Morphettville three weeks ago. She took on the older horses and tried her guts out but just couldn’t quite get there when third to Hajra. Form reads well, she is one of the leading contenders.

10 Endless Forevers (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a smart filly for Michael Hickmott and I think she commands respect. She hasn’t raced since her debut at Balaklava back on Feb 23 when getting the suck run in behind before angling clear and knuckled down with purpose late to win and win well. Given a good break and her trial work to get ready has been strong.

2 Shadow Eagle (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes to town for Byron Cozamanis after a win first up at Gawler, where he gave them a start and a beating, getting better as the race went on to win and win well. Fitter, he’ll be strong late and is in well after the claim.

4 Lomax (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is flying for Paul Carey and is one of the hardest to beat. He ran last Saturday over 1500m at Gawler where he got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, I loved the way he closed his race off in defeat behind Motorace. Hard fit, 1800m, he appeals.

5 Shakespeare (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1800m after racing last Saturday over 1700m at Gawler when getting a fair way out of his ground but was good late in the piece when second to Wine Barron. Like him up in trip, bigger track, he appeals.

8 Harley’N’Rose (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing at Morphettville where he got back over 1800m and made up minimal headway behind Magnetic Edge. His best is clearly good enough to be around the mark and this isn’t a deep contest.

7 Star Sirius (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating I say. She ran over 1250m at Morphettville Parks two weeks ago where she got back to a clear last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she found the line well enough in defeat behind Metrical. Clean jump, can settle closer, she takes beating.

12 Nurys (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is in a purple patch and commands respect after winning two on the bounce, the latest being last Saturday at Gawler. She gave them a start and a beating, winning quite impressively and won by a space. Hard to knock the way she’s racing.

5 Yasuke (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since resuming at Morphettville. He got back to near last in the run and while he was never a winning threat, he kept finding the line and was pretty good in defeat I thought behind Voltage Point. If within range, he has the finale to launch late.

10 High On Sugar (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1200m at Morphettville where he got back to near last and was very wide on the turn. He did make up ground but was never really a factor. If he gets a drag into the race, he can launch over the top.

11 Sharendipity (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Cody Reardon trained mare that is three weeks between runs since racing at Morphettville when just off speed and she tried hard but couldn’t quite get there when fourth to Fast Bubbles. From around her reads well and she strikes a winnable race.

13 Invertational (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. She ran four weeks back at Murray Bridge where she got back to near last in the run and while she was never a winning threat, she did make up ground and was pretty good in defeat. If within range, she has the finale to win.

2 Headphones (Bet Now:  $SP.00) looks a really good each way gamble. She tende to save her best for this track/distance, the latest run being at that set up last Wednesday where she got too far out of her ground but was good late in the piece. She can settle much closer in the run and be effective late.

3 Swycho (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a big improver for Michael Hickmott after resuming three weeks ago at Morphettville when four wide no cover and the hard run just told on her late in the piece. Better run in transit, home track advantage, she appeals.

5 Runaway Statement (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is dangerous with her best. I was keen on her running well two weeks back at Morphettville Parks and in the run, she looked the winner, but once asked for the effort, gee she was plain late. The good record at Murray Bridge is her saving grace.

5 Lonrodex (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has a good record at Murray Bridge and that is his saving grace for this race. He ran at Morphettville Parks two weeks ago where he seemingly had every chance in behind the speed and was just fair in the run to the line. Perhaps with a more patient steer, he’s a threat.

3 Merchant Boss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should be around the mark. Travis Doudle trained gelding that ran a fortnight back at Morphettville Parks. He got off speed and kept chasing with purpose in a pretty good effort in defeat behind Metrical. Upside to come, he can win.

2 Flashing Steel (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is an interesting runner. He makes his SA debut and is now with Karen Byrnes, having not raced since May 26 at Beaudesert when tiring late behind Badgers Nuts. His best is clearly good enough so watch betting.

NEXT BEST: Race Three Number 6 Corona Lad

LONG SHOT: Race Eight Number 2 Headphones
