3 Dream Roca (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Liam Birchley trained filly that debuts off the back of two trials, the latest seeing her bolt up at the Sunny Coast where she was pushed right out by KWT but did respond well to gap her rivals. Stable love to get them ready for the early 2YO races so watch betting.

2 Rarotonga (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of North Pacific that debuts for Paul Shailer. He won a trial at Beaudesert over 900m, winning comfortably and although the time was nothing to jump up and down about, I thought he moved well enough. He can win without surprising.

4 Lady Of Five (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a well bred filly for Team Hulbert that has won both her trials in readiness for start one, the latest coming at Doomben when romping up by a space and ran decent time. Looks prepped right up for a debut win so watch the market.

4 Ouroboros (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is several weeks between runs since racing over this trip at Doomben when on speed throughout and was hailed as the winner, only to be nabbed late by Zelgaria. Proven track/distance performer, good racing style, rates highly.

9 Alectrona (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is knocking on the door. She has been runner up her past three, the latest coming at Doomben four weeks ago when a closing second to Margot’s Deel, who was luckless last weekend, so the form reads well and should be strong late.

11 Ellibaby (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a David Vandyke trained mare that only had one run last prep, which saw her place at Doomben behind Emperor when off speed and surged hard late to just miss. Given a good break and looks to have trialled up well for the return. One of the leading contenders.

13 Rock The Sunrise (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is three eeks between runs since racing over 1400m at Eagle Farm. He lobbed outside the leader and looked like he was there to pounce. He just couldn’t quite get there behind Chamierro. The rise in trip looks fine. Maybe with a more patient steer?

12 Arabian Rose (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a lightly raced mare heading in the right direction. She has won her past two, both at the Sunny Coast where she hasn’t beaten much but she has made an absolute mess of them. Good test here but think she’ll measure up.

4 Mob Buster (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a big price here I feel. He was given a sore back in the Lismore Cup I thought, sitting wide and taking off far too early, tiring in the straight and rightfully so given the run he had. Maps much better, he’s in the mix.

4 Sweet Pretender (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was the eye catcher from the Toowoomba Guineas two weeks ago. She got back to near last in the run and while she was never threatening, I liked the way she finished her race off in defeat. Fitter and up in trip, she’ll be strong late and can win.

1 Ha’Penny Hatch (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was a forgive I thought from the Toowoomba Guineas two weeks back. She was wide early before landing on speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite see it through and felt the pinch late. I think with a patient steer, cover, she’s dangerous.

5 Worthy Enuff (Bet Now:  $SP.00) also comes through the Toowoomba Guineas. He got into a decent spot off speed but he didn’t fire a shot and was very plain late. Off the first up run, he can prove to be a threat against these.

5 Bourbon County (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a son of Farnan that resumes for Michael Freedman after a debut win at the Sunny Coast Poly on May 18 where I am not sure he was 100% happy on the Poly but class came to the fore and he was too good. Trialled up sharply at Beaudesert, he takes beating here.

2 Manpower (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after a dominant win last Saturday at the Gold Coast, sitting on speed before being clicked up and away he went to win and win well. Good test here but think he can measure up.

3 Forgotten Spirit (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a Tony Gollan trained filly that resumes. This girl hasn’t raced since the Magic Millions in January when outclassed, finishing down the track behind O’Ole. Liked her trial last month at Doomben, watch the market.

7 Express Payment (Bet Now:  $SP.00) loks to have returned really well and should take beating here after a first up second two weeks ago at Toowoomba where he was hailed as the winner, but was run down late by Our Magnus. Fitter and up to 1400m, he’s one of the better bets on the card.

4 Aldoflito (Bet Now:  $SP.00) takes beating after racing over 1200m three weeks back at the Gold Coast when getting a fair way back but loved the way he closed off late when second to Surprise Honey. If he can settle closer and be within range, he can win.

2 Viminele (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was pretty much a DNP behind Weigall Tiger given he bombed the start and showed no early speed, pretty much taking no competitive part. If he does everything right, his best is good enough to take this out.

4 Canberra Legend (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should love getting to 1800m. He was 2200m to the mile at Toowoomba in what was his first run for Peter Robl and he ran a beauty, charging late to just miss out on picking up Ludovisi in a driving go. Like him up to 1800m, fitter, he takes beating.

13 Victory Flame (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is a key chance for Team Archibald. He ran over this track/distance last start when getting a decent run in transit near the speed and tried hard but just couldn’t quite get there when a narrow second to Evelyn May. Maps ideally, he’ll be around the mark.

9 Kaluakoi (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He ran over 1400m at the Gold Coast two weeks ago when on speed and was there to win but just lacked change up speed and had no answers late for the in form Lady Lucifer. Hard fit now and getting to 1800m, good racing style, he appeals.

10 So You Are (Bet Now:  $SP.00) is on the seven day back up for Stirling Osland after an arrogant win last Saturday at Doomben where he led throughout and gave nothing else a look in, winning impressively. Good test here, but he’s a stayer that has found winning form, can settle forward, hard to beat.

8 Queen Air (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was game in defeat in the Toowoomba Cup given she was wide no cover throughout and that hard run just told on her late in the piece behind Walsh Bay. If that hasn’t busted her, she can win this.

4 Nikau Spur (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was prepped up to run well in the hometown Cup at Toowoomba two weeks ago and he indeed ran a positive race, working home well from off speed but was never really threatening when third to impressive winner Walsh Bay. He’ll be around the mark.

4 About To Explode (Bet Now:  $SP.00) can run an improved race for Tony Gollan. He ran over 1300m two weeks back at Toowoomba and didn’t really fire a shot in a plain finale behind Battlefield, with the rider saying post race the track was too firm. Back to 1200m, he can bounce back.

10 Fukubana (Bet Now:  $SP.00) has class on his side and class will carry him a long way. He resumes for Matty Dunn, having not raced since June 7 when far from disgraced over 1500m here in the Spear Chief behind Transatlantic. Like him fresh at 1200m and has trialled super.

2 He’s Heaven (Bet Now:  $SP.00) comes through the Weetwood from two weeks back when leading and he gave a decent kick and sight, but couldn’t sustain it and nothing was beating Tavs. Not sure he wins but is a must for exotics.

6 Tavs… (Bet Now:  $SP.00) was he Black Caviar? Winx? What the hell was that from him in the Weetwood two weeks ago. He was looking none early on in the race but then somehow trucked into the race, and when asked for the effort, he spanked them and went like an absolute rocket. He has to be top seed here off that return.

11 Battlefield (Bet Now:  $SP.00) steps up to 1400m after an impressive win at Toowoomba over 1300m, giving them a start and a beating in a very sharp display. 1400m should be no issue and off a win, has to be respected.

3 Exotique Miss (Bet Now:  $SP.00) should appreciate a rise to 1400m after resuming two weeks back in the Weetwood at Toowoomba. She got a mile back in the run and while she was never threatening, I didn’t mind the way she finished her race off in defeat behind Tavs. Fitter and up in trip, she’s an improver.
