Nine races will be run and won at Morphettville Parks this Saturday. Weather is fine, track is good (4) and the rail is in the true position for the entire circuit.

Race 1. (12:57) Sportsbet Nobody Does It Easier (Bm76) 1250m
1 Struck By (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a track/distance winner that will jump on the bunny and take running down, as seen two weeks ago over 1400m at Murray Bridge. He gave a strong kick but had to settle for a narrow second to Flying Mikki. Front end control, he takes running down.
3 Let’s Get Down (Bet Now: $SP.00) is third up from a spell and should just about be at peak fitness. He ran over 1200m at Murray Bridge last time when off speed and chased with purpose when a narrow second to Episodic. Hard fit, back a fair way in depth, rates highly.
2 Manhattan Times (Bet Now: $SP.00) has run well at the track/distance previously and maps to stalk the speed. Got a bit too far out of his ground last time at Murray Bridge and did make up ground but was never really a winning threat. Maps to stalk and get last look.
Race 2. (13:32) Sportsbet Fast Form (Bm76) 2250m
1 Gotta Go Guru (Bet Now: $SP.00) is the straight bat play. Strong winner two weeks ago at Murray Bridge. She got into a decent spot off the speed and despite being asked to go earlier, she found under pressure and was strong to the line in winning. Extra 250m no issue, she’s the one to beat.
2 Montepulciano (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a few weeks between runs for Team Jolly since racing over 2500m on the course proper here. He tried hard but I just don’t think ran the 2500m out. Back to 2250m and fresh legs, he can run an improved race at odds.
4 Cours Vite (Bet Now: $SP.00) comes through the Gotta Go Guru race from two weeks back at Murray Bridge mentioned above. He got back off the speed and while he was never threatening, he kept finding the line in a pretty good effort in defeat. One for exotics.
Race 3. (14:07) Aig Security Mdn Plate 1400m
6 Mystical Wisdom (Bet Now: $SP.00) has talent for Team Jolly so I am not dismissing him. He ran over 1400m at Murray Bridge last time and on paper, the run was just fair but for mine, he just got way too far back and spotted those in front a big head start. If he can settle closer in the run, he’ll be a leading contender.
4 Discreetly Blue (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a horse that i think the stable would love to get to a Derby. He resumes after a Spring prep where they tried to get him to the Victoria Derby but he didn’t quite measure up in lead ups. Like that he kicks off in a maiden and has trialled well for the return.
10 Kiss And Kaboom (Bet Now: $SP.00) has had a couple of runs at 1200m and is racing like a rise to 1400m will suit. Latest run was two weeks ago when back off the speed snd closed well enough in defeat I thought. Dangerous if she can settle closer in the run.
Race 4. (14:42) Nicola's Last Hurrah! (Bm72) 1400m
6 Angelic Appeal (Bet Now: $SP.00) come back to 1400m after racing over the mile at Murray Bridge three weeks ago. I thought she had her chance from off the speed but I just don’t think she ran the mile out too strongly. Back in trip, she takes beating.
5 Tahnee Treasure (Bet Now: $SP.00) should be better suited up in trip after resuming over 1200m a fortnight back at Murray Bridge. She was wide no cover throughout and that hard run just told late in the piece. Better for that run under the belt, she is good enough to threaten.
3 Pearl Adios (Bet Now: $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday on the course proper here. He got into a decent spot in transit and tried hard but just lacked the finale to go with them late in the piece. Back to the Parks track, where he races best, he can win.
Race 5. (15:17) Happy 80Th Birthday Glynn Pretty Hcp (64) 1950m
8 Prancing Countess (Bet Now: $SP.00) has run well at metro level previously and off last start, I think she’ll take beating here. That last start resulted in a dominant display at Penola where she gave them a start and a beating to win and win quite well I thought. Off that, the rise in trip is fine and is the one to beat.
1 Eaglelou (Bet Now: $SP.00) will welcome the drop back in grade/depth after racing at Murray Bridge four weeks ago when near the speed throughout and tried hard but just lacked the finale to go with them late behind Gotta Go Guru. Back to 64 grade, he can win.
5 Savatoff (Bet Now: $SP.00) is suited back up in trip after coming back to 1750m from 2250m she racing at Kangaroo Island, placing and not beaten too feel prior efforts in town were solid enough to say he can run well in a race like this.
Race 6. (15:52) Stealth Tools (Bm70) 1000m
7 Left Turn Clyde (Bet Now: $SP.00) does tend to face well on the fresh side and strikes a winnable race. He last ran at Gawler on Dec 14 when off speed and was never really a threat behind Beauty Bound. He’ll be spotting them a start but has the finale to launch over the top late.
3 Kova (Bet Now: $SP.00) is racing really well at the moment for Team Cahill. She ran at Port Lincoln last start where she chased strongly from off speed but just couldn’t quite get there behind proven city performer Secret War. Genuine mare and should be around the mark.
4 Old Time Rock (Bet Now: $SP.00) is an improver after racing at Cranbourne last time out when wide throughout and just couldn’t quite get involved behind impressive winner Skipjack. Good record here and his best is more than good enough to be dangerous.
Race 7. (16:27) Pfd Food Services (Bm66) 1550m
2 Holmes (Bet Now: $SP.00) should take a power of beating here for Andrew Clarken after resuming two weeks ago over 1200m at Murray Bridge, a trip clearly short of his best, but he ran a beauty and just kissed out on the win when a narrow second to El Capony. Fitter and up in trip, he only runs well I say.
5 Hard Prince (Bet Now: $SP.00) is racing like a rise to 1550m will suit after racing over 1400m at Murray Bridge. He got back in the run and seemed to get a decent drag into the race but just couldn’t quite finish the job and lacked any real change up speed. That tells me a rise in trip will suit and he strikes a winnable race.
1 Marcolt (Bet Now: $SP.00) has to be given respect here despite coming back to 1550m from 1800m. Last run was at Murray Bridge three weeks back when wide no cover throughout but he kept finding the line and was really good in defeat behind Magnetic Edge. Better run in transit and he’ll be around the mark I’m sure.
Race 8. (17:07) Sportsbet Hcp (66) 1250m
7 Global Turn (Bet Now: $SP.00) looks hard to beat for mine. She ran two weeks ago at Murray Bridge over 1200m where she got back and wide in the run before being presented wider and finished off strongly to finish second to impressive winner Bolted In. Depth here is not as deep and if she can settle closer in the run, she takes beating.
4 Shisuta Bo (Bet Now: $SP.00) is a leading contender for a Travis Doudle. Think they rode her a touch warm at Murray Bridge last time. Ridden with intent to land on speed, I reckon that just took away something from her finale behind El Capony. More patient steer, she can threaten.
5 Running On Time (Bet Now: $SP.00) should appreciate a rise in trip. She resumed over 1200m at Bordertown where she was wide no cover on speed and that early burn just told on her late in the piece behind Lunar Solar. Did show promise when with Ciaron Maher so don’t dismiss her.
Race 9. (17:48) Thomas Farms Hcp (66) 1250m
3 Declared (Bet Now: $SP.00) has a good record overall and has returned well I say after resuming a few weeks ago at Murray Bridge when wide no cover on speed but he stayed on and kept finding the line in a pretty good return behind Yasuke. If that hasn’t busted him, he takes beating here.
8 Fine Future (Bet Now: $SP.00) is on the seven day back up after racing last Saturday on the course proper here where he got too far out of his ground but I really liked the way he closed off in defeat behind Cool Magnum. If he can settle closer, he’ll take holding out.
2 Captain Joolian (Bet Now: $SP.00) is three weeks between runs since racing over 1400m at Murray Bridge where he got into a decent spot off speed and presented to be some sort of threat but didn’t quite run on as expected behind The Mansman. Prior efforts were quite sound so I am not dropping off him just yet.
