Zac Purton celebrated a significant milestone at Happy Valley on Wednesday by securing his 1,700th win in Hong Kong, joining the elite ranks alongside Douglas Whyte.
The Australian jockey, chasing his seventh championship, widened his lead in the current standings with a treble, bringing his seasonal tally to 91 victories.
Despite this achievement, Purton remains focused on surpassing Whyte’s record of 1,813 wins.
