Former Australian superstar So You Think could have his first start for new trainer Aidan O’Brien in the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury on May 14.
The five-year-old won five Group Ones for training maestro Bart Cummings, including two Cox Plates, before finishing third in the Melbourne Cup last November.
Coolmore subsequently snapped up a majority share in the son of High Chaparral and he was switched to the care of O’Brien for a European campaign.
So You Think is one of a clutch of entries from the Ballydoyle yard with Cape Blanco, Jan Vermeer and Viscount Nelson also in the field.
Canford Cliffs, who dominated the three-year-old mile (1600m) division last year, is another to feature among the entries along with fellow Richard Hannon-trained Dick Turpin.
Other noteworthy contenders include Henry Cecil’s Dubai World Cup disappointment Twice Over, Godolphin’s team of Delegator, Mendip, Shakespearean and Anna Salai, and Mick Channon’s Falmouth Stakes winner Music Show.
