Dubawi Gold will be given an alternative target at Goodwood this weekend provided Strong Suit takes his place in Saturday’s Celebration Mile.
Trainer Richard Hannon does not want to run his pair in the same race and Strong Suit, who has recently been acquired by Pearl Bloodstock, takes top billing after his victory at the course in the Lennox Stakes.
“Soft ground is the only worry, but the vibes we are getting from Goodwood are encouraging and I would like to run him if conditions are suitable,” the trainer told www.richardhannonracing.tv.
“If Strong Suit does run, we will keep Dubawi Gold back for the Group Three Supreme Stakes there the following day.”
