The 2014 Kentucky Derby and Preakness Stakes winner, California Chrome is already in Dubai and will have one lead-up run to the World Cup.
Another US-based raider already in Dubai is Godolphin’s Wood Memorial winner, Frosted, trained by Kiaran McLaughlin while Dortmund, the 2015 Santa Anita Derby winner for trainer Bob Baffert, has been nominated for the World Cup.
